Wonderful guy , I met Danny Shirley in West Virginia years ago and he told his sons he says hey there's a guy with one of my old Confederate railroad shirts on....we talked for a minute and he went on his way .....super good man and what a wonderful statement by Shirley saying he will never apologize for being southern .

I love, love, love, love Confederate Railroad ... their music is one of a kind, and so are is the band. There is no reason that a good old country boy can't or shouldn't be proud of his/their roots! This country girl sure is proud of mine. Just call me a white nationalist and a proud rebel ... a resident alien on my own soil. But it is our soil, so kick ass, Danny! We, true Americans, love you. We love your music. And we especially love the fact that you are standing by your name! It is time we all stood up for our heritage, before our history gets erased and rainbow flags replace the Stars and Bars that represent our Southern Heritage.

Well actually the history of it is the confederacy were traitors to the United States of America and removed all U.S flags from their government buildings but because after the war the United States of America granted the traitors leniency they were were allowed to remain unlike in other countries where their rebels were driven out as refugees of war but yes this situation was a little crazy over the name of a band.

Remember seeing The Charlie Daniel's Band, and Alabama back in the 70's, 80's, they both had their semi truck's and buses all painted in Confederate flags, all Southern Rock bands did back then. Never had anything to do with being racist, it was all about being proud of being from the South and loving country rock music. Man it's sad what's going on in this country today.

I was at their final jam at Miss Kitty's. My wife and I were in the military at the time. Now she is in Illinois and I am in North Idaho, yes there is a big difference in the state. We are still together, she had to go back and help her dad after surgery now I am helping with my mom after surgery, after surgery on my knee a week ago. Love to here they have a better jam in Illinois then the other pos fair. And wife will be coming home middle of September

I have ALWAYS been a Confederate Railroad fan! I am from Illinois.....and I am embarrassed and ashamed of this decision. But, I do want to correct one thing: the fair that cancelled them calls themselves the Duquoin State Fair. However, the actual Illinois State Fair is in our state capital of Springfield, Illinois.

Only 15% of counties in Illinois are Democratic. But those are the largest Democratic Population Cities and they out vote the rest of the state which are Republican. So please don't lump us sane citizens in with those pieces of shit.......

These guys are scheduled to play a concert, that is free, during the Old Soldiers Reunion in Newton, NC. It is an event to honor veterans that started in 1889. So, many each year many try to shut it down because it started by celebrating our veterans, who happened to be confederate.

Bill's laundromat bar & grill been a favorite since the first listen. I had one of their tour t shirts and I wore it to high school in California. I had a few people staff mostly make small comments but I didn't care wore it anyway.

Before they disbanded, THE LYNYRD SKYNYRD COVER BAND removed from the rear of the stage, the CONFEDERATE FLAG, ok they did replace it with the STARS AND STRIPES, but they folded under pressure, NO WAY ON EARTH WOULD RONNIE VAN ZANT DO THAT!!!!!! KEEP UP THE NAME OF YOUR BAND
