Take this as a grain of salt. I thought that kid in the video was, Harumasa being portrayed as his younger self. Who was viewing his adult self as a monster... But I figured it wasn't him because their eye colors were different. But... I just learned that characters eye colors are directly associated with their adaptability to ether. WHICH MAKES SENSE, considering so many characters have similar eye colors in this game. But still not sure if that kid IS a representation of his younger self in his memories, or just a random kid. Who knows. Maybe I'm WAYYY off.
i dont think the kid at the end was harumasa's younger self, we already know harumasa's child version had his split haircut and that kid looked completedly different. which is why i believe they wanted to hint that the kid was hurt by young harumasa after he was corrupted by an experiment, and that harumasa was the 'monster'/ 'murderer' he was tasked with catching at the beginning of the video.
I mean it literally says "look closer it's you" before cutting to him 'rescuing' the child The reason they look different is because he's corrupted and his younger self wasn't. Wearing the choker is most likely some way of containing the corruption within him. Him helping the child is imo a depiction of him trying to help his younger self when he got lost in a Hollow
At 3:28 we see Harumasa as a kid (probably) and he has a green eye and a yellow or golden eye. So it is possible that the kid at the end with green eyes was him even before he got corrupted by ether or something.
I think Harumasas trauma is that he was an illegally experimented on with etheric matter and now has to take special medications to keep the corruption at bay.
I don't think the kid is Harumasa. If his eye color went from green to yellow, that would mean his Ether Aptitude has increased. (Yellow is before Green in the color spectrum. Red is strongest, Blue is weakest). However, Harumasa's problem stems from a decline of it for corruption to be a problem.
There was very, very little in the game (other than his "joking" about his leave requests) that pointed to what we see in this demo... things got real dark real quick with this...
My Speculation: ----------------------------- There is a good chance that he was lost in the hollow when he was a child and got corrupted but was saved and treated. However, maybe he was discriminated against and developed a trauma. For example, he got lost in a hollow for a really long time, and people thought he was dead and had become an etheral, but he has an unusually high ether tolerance, and when they found him, he was still a human. He got the headband from the doctor that treated him (not sure about the choker), but when he got reintroduced into society, people who thought he died and became an ethereal were wary of him now (especially when at the time there were ethereal attacks running rampant). Additionally, when he gets agitated, his right eye changes color as a side effect, which scares them and maybe leads to people treating him as some kind of monster. I would say he works in section 6 because not only is he capable in terms of skill, but he has a high tolerance for ether corruption (probably scouted by Miyabi, or perhaps he was saved by her mother in the past, leading him to join section 6 under her daughter), but his trauma of interacting with other people is still there, and he feels more comfortable being home away from other people despite trusting the rest of his team.
probably not, seems like someone experimented on him, the arrow transition to his neck isnt a coincidence, its directly implying someone INJECTED ether into his body
Harumasa was born with a syndrome of decreased resistance to ether. Rather, his resistance to ether is very weak. And it seems like because of this disease, he will live 20+ years. And after the caverns, they put him on a drip with medicines. (It was on stream) I think his illness was studied as a child
@@TheLastQuazar That's really possible. Also read somewhere that it might be the reason why he's in section 6 (aside from his combat abilities), is so that they can still pay close attention to him, run some lowkey tests to monitor his vitals/etc, and if the worst comes where he turns ethereal, capable people are around him to deal of what's coming. If that's the case, it's just sad that its either gonna be Miyabi, Yanagi or might be even Souka to put him in peace.
If i remember correctly, the four horsemen are conquest, war, famine, and death. According to a quick google search, conquest is depicted to carry a _bow_ with them, and there’s only one person out of the four characters who uses a bow. Considering Soukaku’s appetite, I’d say that she suits famine. However, who’s Death and War? There’s only Yanagi and Miyabi but which of the two is which? Considering how Yanagi used to be a soldier (iirc) I’d say that she’s war but i till have doubts. What do you guys think?
@@mathewgoquesan3322 Although Conquest is associated with the bow, it's not iconic to Conquest. Rather, Pestilence is the one most iconic with the bow, seeing as it is depicted in most books that Pestilence carries a quiver of arrows whose tips are full of diseases and poison. It also fits Harumasa's whole "suffering from disease" thing, so I think Harumasa actually fits Pestilence more than Conquest
My Speculation : Harumasa was regarded as a prodigy like Miyabi and maybe becomes a lab rat but something went wrong and he went berserk or hollowed. And the medicine is to prevent such accidents from happening again.
Here's what I got from the video. He seems like he was experimented on as a kid with some kind of ether or...something. At the beginning of the video about the murder, it said something about "poor kid." I'm wondering if, when he was trying to save a child in the hollow, something happened and he got corrupted, offed the kid, but somehow turned back? And now he's just..traumatized by everything. It's also possible he's sensitive to ether and is on the verge of turning, so he has to have some kind of treatment plan. But the transition of the arrow to the syringe, then him fighting off a transformation really makes me think that the ethereal corruption still might have been experimental. But idk...they do a good job with teasing us.
Maube his lazyness os him 'ot wanting to go on the battlefield and get corrupted again to avoid hurting someone again but ultimately he is so good at fighting so that's why

Many have speculated that the members of H.S.O.6 are based off the four horsemen of the apocalypse.

He is going to be the reason why I finally going to download this game
I might return to this game just for him ngl
I’m going back just for him 😂😭
The most crazy ass trailer in ZZZ so far. Despite being a free S-Rank character
Most crazy demo in Hoyoverse, I'd dare say. Matches the chills I got from Nahida's teaser.
@@ProxesHub agreeee

They really don't cut corners and I love them for that
Was he a character with trauma from a biological experiment..? It's so sad and I'm so attached to him 😢
I think they were creating a human ethereal hybrid and he takes the pills to not get fully corrupted
Harumasa ethereal form kinda looks like Thanatos that one ethereal enemy in the game with the cape and all
Also His playstyle is somewhat similar to Thanatos or is it just my imagination
@@ci1657 that drop when he finishes the combo at the end is LITERALLY THE THANATOS SPIN THEY DO AFTER TPing

I think he's a successful experimental subject to create human with ethereal's power. While the other Thanatos might be the failed subjects.
This looked like a whole anime which was amazing

Sometimes the goffiest character have the darkest backstories...
Makes me wonder if Sector 6 are aware of his story.
Happy birthday nahida🎉🎉, oh wait, i mean harumasa🙃
bruh
fuck.
When I woke up...
I was riding a flower carriage I got a commission on my phone
Having shirtless male characters is definitely the trend in gacha right now lol
It's about damn time. its been jiggle physics with boobs for the longest time. Finally nice to have more males on the spotlight too
Dude's infected with Honka- I mean ethereal matter. Sorry. Force of habit.
i could be wrong but he could've been based of the archer ethereal

Can you make Reverse1999 Timeline from 1.1 until now please. Its bit confused. What I know timeline rn is 1990 but idk
i mean its pretty obvious what happens......comprehension is not a strong suit of streamers I guess....
The fact that harumasa is just living on edge, not knowing whether he would just wake up one day to fully becoming an ethereal... 🥲
