My first thought would be to say it depends on the kind of pink. Softer pink is completely fine for a mostly solid-colored shirt or curtains or wallpaper or something like that. It does not evoke much gayness in such cases for some reason. Hot pink is far less reasonable as a solid color, it screams "i love pink and this design choice is no coincidence", but it can serve very well for smaller bright accents, so it may contrast with a white canvas; to the point that it may not matter that it is exactly pink, it could just be called *bright accents*, thus eliminating the gayness to a degree. Usually i face the color-design-combination-artistry-conundrums in racing games when filling my garage with different cars. Solid pink instantly signals "girly", and from a good distance too, before one can get close and see any accents, ornaments or text. But putting on pink stripes or a pink flame is something that i have consciously done many times in pursuit of an original artistic design. But gayness does not bother me much anyway, after all i did almost buy the my HyperX headset in pink+white, when that variant was on sale... So my honest general answer would be "more pink=more girly", but it could differ depending on the subject we are chosing the coloration for.
