True, but he's heading in the right direction. Reckon he has the potential be a top player and hopefully further big tournament results will give him the needed confidence. I think he's a great character.
I do think the very very best are shark cold unemotional, I certainly see it in MVG and Littler, and now Humphreys's has learnt to play in a state of zen he's near unplayable at times. You can see M Smith too changed a few years back going from being self abusive to appearing semi stoned focussed.
Dobey had Clemens number this afternoon ......that did hurt a bit ! That 146 from Bunting at 4-4 on Luke's throw was phenomenal . Nerves of steel there ....against the Number 1 . He has matured so well lately when under pressure like that . I have rarely seen Humphries pissed like that after a Huge checkout hehehehe .

I have been playing and watching darts for many years.
What the hell is the crack with the majority of players asking what they have left - surely they should be doing this themselves.
Growing up this was a great to improve basic mathematics now the players are just getting lazy.
Surely if they can't count they shouldn't be playing a game that requires this - how do they practice with no referee's around to tell them what they have left.

Every single match Ross Smith plays in, his body languages incredibly negative, very despondent. It really is about time he invested in a sports psychologist. He's a very capable talented player but beats himself up way too much on stage.

Im just taking shots. iceman is awesome. I know he say it’s to pump him up but sometimes the timing has other motives and I think others feel the same. Just play it out without putting off the other player. Hey what do I know.
