  • Want to take your channel point redeems to the next level? Step up your stream's interactivity using these methods. It's no secret that channel points are one of the best additions Twitch has made to their platform; but they also tend to get stale or meaningless over time. Add some unpredictability!
    This tutorial goes over how to set up more dynamic channel point redeems using MixItUp, and VTubeStudio. Whether you use a PNG, VROID, or other platform, the MixItUp techniques still apply! It's actually wild how much easier they've made it to do randomization; it used to be super weird!
    This only scratches the surface! Come check out the stream to see these techniques pushed to their limits ✨

    I didn't realize I hadn't commented here yet, but this tutorial was life changing in my streamer journey. There hasn't been a great and comprehensive tutorial for MixItUp specifically for Vtubers, and Marrow did an amazing job!

    This is a really well thought out tutorial! Everything was laid out concisely with enough depth to be helpful without getting too bogged down in the details. Thank you very much for making this! It's nice to see what other options there are for channel point redeems!

    This is a viable tutorial. Channel points really evolved a lot since I paid attention to it huh.
    On a note.
    I don't know if it means anything to you, but when you browse your computer, your user's name is on display.
    Assuming you're using your real name.

    Hey, I thought this video was pretty interesting. I'm mostly a 3d vtuber who uses sammi so it was cool to see the other side of the coin!

    • @marrowguides
      @marrowguides  Рік тому

      OOOOH nice! I suppose you could still do a lot of these things by binding things to keys within Sammi, then using MIU to press those keys using their Input Action when something happens on Twitch 🤔

    I was wondering if you've found and option where you can setup a timed redeem for an artmesh color preset?

    Quick question! Is there a way to add a bunch of toggles to one command and have the command select randomly which one is picked ?

  • @taffvee
    @taffvee Рік тому

    Idk if you will see this ;w; but is there a way to configure the rewards where 2 cannot be active at the same time? For now I’m gonna use the randomization method u used but I rather ppl be able to chose what they want and with what I’m wanting I can’t have more than one on ;-;

    what a great video, thank you! is this also doable with subs? or follows? or only channel points?

    • @ThrasherDylan
      @ThrasherDylan Рік тому +2

      You should be able to. You'd basically just put it under the "Events" section of mix it up and set the trigger to follow or sub. Otherwise the rest of the instructions are all basically the same.

    Is there a way to queue the channel point redeems so they dont stack. Dont want overlaping of different commands

  • @AngryMothNoises
    @AngryMothNoises 3 місяці тому

    Is there a way to have 1 redeem cancel out another? Like, lets say you have a hat on. But when your chat redeems cat ears it puts the hat away and pops up the cat ears. Or vise versa?

  • @Fuohko

    i really wan to know how you can go the green screen but have it play on your model

    • @marrowguides
      @marrowguides  6 місяців тому

      This is totally possible! I used to do a channel point redeem that showed random memes inside my eye sockets. It was kind of annoying to use though, because it won't be "ideal" if you move your model around a lot; as the media sources you key in are stationary inside OBS and don't move with your model.

  • @letsplaynanyato2843
    @letsplaynanyato2843 6 місяців тому

    What if i dont want the items to toggle but to actually stay in the scene? First redeem adds the hat, second the egg..etc. is that possible? i dont want to make 100 seperate channelpoint rewards.

    • @marrowguides
      @marrowguides  6 місяців тому +2

      OH! That one's actually easy, if you want the item to be randomized but still overlap!
      Just set up an individual Item Scene in VTS for each Item that you want to appear & give them a hotkey (doesn't need to have a keyboard key bound, just set them up in VTS). Then create a "Random" action in MixItUp for the channel point redeem you want people to use and fill it with the VTS hotkeys you made. Make sure you set the "Do Not Repeat" option to on, and put the number next to it to "1"
      Hope that helps!

    Hi, my mixitup keeps crashing, do you know why?

    • @marrowguides
      @marrowguides  6 місяців тому

      Hmm hard to know without more details, but if you're doing too many things at once, I recommend adding short "Wait" actions between your actions to give MIU more time to process everything.

    Absolutely LOVE this video, thank you so much MarrowMage! 🥹 This is extremely helpful! May I ask how you were able to also have magic spell effects or how you’ve created that delayed clone of yourself? If you’d rather keep it a secret, it’s okay! 🥹 I still appreciate all the tips you’ve shared with us!
