- Hey friends! Let’s decorate my front porch for spring! It’s not quite warm enough to plant yet, but we can bring out all the spring decor!

Your porch is really taking shape. Love what you've done so far. If you like the natural color of the furniture, you should seal it with a clear marine-grade sealant. The marine-grade will hold up well in wet weather. Advice from an old woman: If your husband likes the colored lights, consider using that setting for a while. It's such a small way to say, "I love you, and I value your opinion."
Thank you Vicki! I definitely will take your advice on the seal! I may do that with the lights :) He already won and got to keep that big grill on the porch so we will see ;) haha.... marriage is definitely all about compromise for sure!!! I hope you have a wonderful week!!!!

Take your stakes out of the light and use a hammer lightly and it will go in easier. The stump blends in real good I think. It’s your rustic look.😊 I like the soft white lights.

It's still way too cold here in central WI to start my porch or even start gardening at all. Although my perennials are coming to life. I have 8 flower gardens and they all have different themes. A lot of work and I'm only in my 3rd yr. of being a gardener. I live on 80 acres, so my flower containers are very country I have 2 old wheeled mop buckets, coal bucket, a lg old grain scoop. . My show pc. in my garden décor is a claw foot bathtub that has a wooden cow head. The flowers are just gorgeous. I use many kinds of petunias and they hang over the sides. This yr. I will start my own seeds as I spent a fortune on flowers, as I also have a front porch plus a brick patio outback so I need a lot. Just subscribed. I love the colored solar lights.

I like the white lights and maybe the colored ones for Christmas the chairs look so good in the natural color

I think the lights look beautiful! I also love the color of the furniture. You could seal it and the color would last a long time. I think the pillows are very pretty too. I wanted to tell you...Scotch Guard your faux florals. It helps protect them from the sun. I always Scotch Guard my garden flags and my outdoor pillows every year. It would work on your florals also. I'm looking forward to seeing what else you add to your porch for Spring and I do love the fairy lights too! Everything looks just beautiful so far!☘🐇

I just found your channel today. I would paint your furniture black. You should also paint your front door black. That would give you a real pop with the color of your house. Just a idea!

I think the white color of the solar lights look best especially with the fairy lights around the door.

T you are off to a good start. Everything looks so pretty. I think I would just put a clear finish on those rocker. They look so good. We have a warm day every now and then and it turns cold again. Lots of rain. Soooo ready for spring. Won’t be much longer. You make me want to get outside and start getting ready for flowers. I noticed Lowe’s already has a good variety but it’s just too early. Can’t wait to get ferns hung on my front porch. I was cleaning the house and decided to take a break. I picked up my iPad and saw your post. So glad to see you. Guess my breaks over. Will be looking for you re Al soon I hope😘
Hi Shirley!!! I know, it's so hard not to start on all the flowers and planting! Hopefully just a few more weeks and we will be in the safe zone for that! What color did you you use to paint your rocking chairs
Hi Patti, I actually haven’t painted them a color yet :) I’m going to leave the natural wood color through spring and I might paint them for summer! Still trying to decide ❤️❤️❤️
New subscriber! I absolutely love your porch decor. I was looking for ideas for a larger porch as well. You have now inspirated me decorate my front porch. At the moment we have totes to unpack from just moving to a new home. So I am excited excited to hurry and unpack everything or put everything in a spare bedroom and decorate now. Thank you for sharing your ideas. I was going to put live plants. But I like the fake plants as well. Trip to Dollar Tree soon.
Hi Denise! So happy to have you and I am glad my video helped motivate you! Sometimes decorating a large porch can be challenging. It's been almost two years since we bought this house and I am still trying to figure it out! haha.... I love real flowers too, but it's nice to have some fake ones especially in early spring when you still have some chilly weather! I also don't have a green thumb so I like to have a mix of both! Have fun decorating your porch!!!!!

I think try placing one of the long pillows on the small chair and the two small pillows on the bench rocker one on each side with the other long one in the middle of the bench..

I also use faux plants on my patio as they blend well with the real vegetation

I think to make sure to keep the weeds from coming up you may should have dug the grass area down to the dirt. and keep the weeds from creeping put the black plastic TRIM Border between the grass and the Mulch area.

Maybe black paint on furniture would tie in w mulch and be a grounding color for everything else u put on porch. I am not a designer just a thought. Have a blessed Easter

Like your colors I would clear coat bench and chair and I would paint the front door and get rid of the stump!!! Thanks 😊

Color! I can't say enough about it! 😊 I like how you tied the pots, hanging baskets, sign, bunny, lantern, rug and everything together cohesively . Isn't power washing satisfying? The porch furniture looks so much nicer now. I like the color. Maybe just a clear coat to finish it. Peach trees are wonderful. We had some, but they all died. They only last about 12 years I guess. Your porch is so homey and adorable❤😊

Your porch looks so lovely. The power wash did the trick, for sure. A litttle sealer, and the furniture will be good to go.🎉 I absolutely love the beautiful Springlike vibes, the porch gives off, dear T. It's so nice.
