I don't know how to describe this, but sometimes I feel like my personality depends on the language I'm talking or even thinking right now. Emotion is mostly the same, but choice of words, length and complexity of throughs can be very different. It's like a switch between me and other me. Same interests and reactions, but slightly different cognitive processes.
So, probably both, depending on which language you are using now.
