Love this. I always think that Ball is a real 'acting singer', if you know what I mean. Awesome talent. I'd have loved to have seen him play Che in the show.
Michael Ball got the talent, looks, personality, and stage presence of 10 men.......THE VERY BEST THERE IS....The angels put together an amazing package in this guy.......Love you MIchael
This man is perfection! so of course is this performance. I never get tired of it, can watch it over and over... Love his expressions. Also the backgrounds are so great.
EVERYtime I watch this it just Amazes me how good he Really is. How can so much talent, and overall wonderfulness be in that one perfect package!? Don't know, but glad it is,and that we get to enjoy it! Such a Fabulous performer!
I would love to have heard Michael Ball sing the "Sing you fools but you've got it wrong" bit. But he does this so well. I love the vibe he gives off, he's acting as he sings like he would in a Broad way show. excellent stuff.
Andrew Lloyd Webber HAS to be the master of catchy tunes, lol! Love this... but has anyone heard the version that Lee Mead and Lewis Bradley performed on 'Any Dream Will Do'? It's amazing... not that this isn't... Micheal Ball has a great voice and really makes this song his own.
true, but he wasn't 'Che' and not considered as the original singer he sang the song on the concept album released prior to the show but David released the single and was the first to play Che on the London production, even Lloyd Webber still refers to him as the Original or Definitive Che and thats where i was coming from, Julie Covington had hit songs from Evita but its still Elaine Paige who we think of as Eva as she was selected to play her in the first production of Evita in 1978,
he is amazing at everything he does. he really is. a brilliant che =] but when he says 'crying eva peron' he sounds like hes calling his cat!!! sorry if that offends anyone, its just i heard it and it made me laugh...
Antonio may have the accent, but he can't sing. That was the stupid thing about the movie version, only Antonio had the Spanish accent. What about Madonna or anyone else? Michael Ball is great. Mandy Patinkin also sang the part of Che very on Broadway. I also liked David Essex in the London version.

I love his expression. He is so brilliant
The subtle sarcasm, the hint of surprise, amazing!!!

I honestly think this is my favorite performance of this song!
I've loved Michael Ball for years and now that I'm 17 I feel I love him even more (:
This man is perfection! so of course is this performance. I never get tired of it, can watch it over and over... Love his expressions. Also the backgrounds are so great.
This is actually the best version that I have heard.. it's too bad that this version wasn't in the play and movie... Michael's voice is perfect.

Can't stop watching this!!brilliantly sang and acted
Tremendous performance. Perfect voice and he accurately portrays the character. His cynicism is palpable.
I agree, its flawless
This has to be the best version of this song in my opinion.
Michael IRS a great job on this. Never heard it before.
I get goose pimples listening to him. What a great voice tallent.
Incredible, love it!!!
I like his way of singing "Eva Pero-n-". I think he is better than Antonio Banderas.
Great 😊
comes a very close second to David Essex version
if he said Eva Perón like he pronounced "Santa Evita" this performance would have been perfect anyways i like his singing
Love him!!!
Love Him❤❤❤
extremely good!!!
on the cd i mean, not on here- on here he sounds ace =]

ARGENTINA. Te. AMO

Fabulous version. Far better than David Essex or Colm Wilkinson
Yes, he does good.
rating ****
I like a lot his rendition. It would've been better with Antonio Banderas's pronunciation...
absolutely!
Really good version by micheal, also like antonio banderas' version but nothing tops the original, david essex owns this song
does anyone know where I can find the sheet music for this arrangement..? I've never heard it before! thanks
The original is Colm Wilkinson, not David Essex.

Oh dear
Not a bad version by Michael, but surprised nobody's mentioned what I consider the defining performance by Mandy Patinkin!
agree close second to David Essex but david still the better voice of this song.
I really hope you are kidding... There is NOTHING pub singer or karaoke about his performances.
he is amazing at everything he does. he really is. a brilliant che =] but when he says 'crying eva peron' he sounds like hes calling his cat!!! sorry if that offends anyone, its just i heard it and it made me laugh...
same voice, same person, but it seems it isn't the one who plays Marius
I don't know.. Antonio Banderas does it for me..
Antonio may have the accent, but he can't sing.

Michael Ball just doesn't have the right accent to do this. Antonio Banderas is the perfect Che.
