1300HP+ "89 GTR" R32 GT-R - 50PSI OF BOOST | JT Performance

The best roll race event held by Premier Events at Meremere yet in New Zealand!
"89 GTR" is Marcel's clean and really fast R32 GT-R Godzilla from 1989. This Skyline ran 50PSI of boost with a powerband output of just 1300hp for the event on some sweet sweet racing juice. James, the owner, tuner, wiring specialist of JT Performance Limited, had been fine tuning this built RB installed by Tom from HRB (Hughes Race Built) that night. Unfortunately later on, the car would not shift during a roll race against a white Audi, causing the JT team to lose in the elimination rounds.
Thanks to Premier Events for hosting the 2024 roll race event at Meremere Dragway. An unexpected number of attendees, meaning drivers and spectators, that entered a door of jam packed action. And as I've heard, this is the initiation to roll racing at this iconic drag strip, and it's definitely a great beginning. Congratulations to Ajay Kumar aka' '2SNJNR', the 1000hp 4G63T Mitsubishi Mirage for taking the win in the turbo class.
