Colorado Road Trip | Chicago to Denver in One Day

This is the first day of our Colorado road trip from Chicago to Denver. It was about 16 hours in total including breaks. The drive wasn't that interesting, but once you get to the Denver area things start to change. Have you ever road tripped to Colorado?

I did this solo trip back in 2015. From Warsaw IN to Denver CO via Chicago, Iowa, Nebraska. Took me 20hrs.

16 hours? how many miles was it and what was your average driving speed? That's pretty-quick.

So it’s give or take about 1000 miles from Chicago to Denver. We were 6 people with 4 different drivers so we were able to drive non-stop and crank it out in 15-16 hours.
