hi everyone, i hope you are all doing well!! i feel like this week went by in a blur, but it truly feels like the holidays is just around the corner! as i'm typing this, i only have one last work day left before i go on my break. i am sooo excited for all the content planning, reading, and relaxing :) i have so many ideas that i want to flesh out, and i've been waiting for this break to finally do just that!
in this video, i've got lots of bookish related stuff to show. i went to a couple of bookstores, got some books, bought some cute things, and unboxed all my birthday presents! december always feels like a huge blessing to me (just like other months, but it's always extra special every december!!), and i really want to express that in this video. i am so grateful for everything in this life, and i truly do not want to take any of it for granted. i am also so grateful for YOU guys!!! it has been my goal to grow a youtube community this year, and everyone of you have been SOOO lovely and kind and wonderful to me. i truly do not deserve you guys, but thank you so incredibly much for all the amazing support this past year. i hope to give it all back to you guys somehow 🥹🤎

I loved that you released a long video this time and I'm deeply grateful to you for that. As you might know by now I always keep your videos for when I journal, they're so inspirational. Since I've joined the club your videos have become even more meaningful to me, because well, we have these buddy reads and we often write about our thoughts and feelings when we read, don't we? sometimes these thoughts get transferred to my journal because they somehow connect with my own life and my way of thinking. It's so special, I can't wait to read 'Stardust' with you and our friends at the club. I think we've found a place where we can share our love for books, journaliing, all kinds of arts and crafts, Ghibli... and tea! Although right now it is the first day of winter over here and I'm only craving hot chocolate. I'm Spanish, hot chocolate and churros run through my veins! Going back to the point I was trying to make (sorryyyyy!) thank you for the long video, I know it's a lot of work for you so I truly appreciate your effort and dedication. These videos come in handy for when I have a lot to write about! (and now you can see that I can write til boredom).

Hello! Blossom end rot on the squashes can be from insufficient calcium in the soil, or the fruit will also rot that way if the flower was not properly pollinated. You can try hand pollinating a few to see if that produces a healthy fruit, or plant some pollinator-attracting flowers nearby.

2 hours commute to work is a lot, it’s a lot of time out of your day. I used to do a minimum of a 2 hr commute sometimes longer, I could not sustain it. Got too stressful and tired all the time.
Now I cycle to work (work closer to home) with a maximum of a 30 minute ride to work, a total of 1 hr a day and a bit of keeping fit too 👍👍

i know 😔 it can be so draining, but i try to be productive in those two hours by reading on my kindle or editing youtube videos! what a lovely way to commute, i just wish bike paths are more common around my area, as it’s pretty dangerous to bike to my office :( so happy it works for you!! thank you for the support 🥹🤍

I used to commute 90 to work and that back home or longer. Bay area traffic is a shared expérience. But i listened to Podcasts and audio books, it was actually a nice me too i just chilled and made the most of because i loved my job at the time. You do it if you love it 😊

Re: rotting squash, along with over-watering, try and add gypsum to the soil, because rotting squash is a calcium deficiency! But yes, you need much less water as well, because plants do get water from the atmosphere too.

I love your vlogs so much, but would you mind a quick question about the mini printer you use? I’ve looked into it, and I’ve seen some mixed reviews, so can I ask, does it work well for you? What mini printer would you recommend using for a beginner? I’ve always wanted to get into journaling, but I thought there were rules to it, and your videos have shown me that it’s all about having fun and doing what feels right to me, so I’d love to get as much of your insight as possible 🥰🩷

Squash likes lots of sun..and they get a bug..that eats the inside of the stalks..then they rot. Also..they like to spread out. The container might be too small

I love how there seems to be so many different book stores. Here in the states we only have Barnes and Noble so they’re all cookie cutter with no character. Independent bookstores are so rare or nonexistent, especially where I live. 😢

Lovely video.. I need to journal like that. Regarding your plants.. looks like too much watering judging by the yellow colour leaves and going rotten.. Less watering may do the trick..😉😉

@@cupsandthoughts I know it's difficult when it's so hot, but I suggest you try to just give them a sprinkling of water rather than a lot of water... In my experience I had plant like that...going yellow and I was advised that I was giving too much water.. Also some 'plant feed ' diluted into your watering can once a week will make your plants thrive.. If you use a watering can once a week then you can flute a cap full of plant feed into your water...then the rest of the week just a sprinkling from your hose... You should find the balance once you see how your plants respond.. Trial and error as to how much but when they are yellow and start to fit that's usually too much moisture. Hope it helps.. Definitely get some feed from your garden centre though.. They may need more nutrient in the soil if it's very hot weather. ❤🌱🌱🌱🌱

Oh I just discover you and my my your video is so cozy and calm. I like to watch ytube when I'm eating or do anything else and I approve your video vibe 😊😊. Tbh, When The River Knows disappoint me. I was expecting some action pack, more history and maybe some alive mummies 😅😅. Its does says "When The Mummy meets Death On The Nile". None of that came 😅😅 so maybe the next book can redeem.
