talked about this on twitter but for this video i experimented with the amount of subtitles, i wanted to cut down on the most tedious part of editing these but didn't want to sacrifice the accessibility they provide **too** much. i finished this one probably 2-3 days sooner than i would've had i subtitled every single thing, so probably gonna stick with this style for the forseeable future
@@braindavidgilbert3147 Seconding this. iirc there's a way to export what youtube automatically generates so that someone can have like maybe 25-75% of the work done, and then just edit what's wrong or missing (this video is probably like a 25% done for automatic subtitling) in the .srt file before stuffing it back in

You could use UA-cam’s subtitles for some stuff you dont want to edit
