So true. I recently looked back at the forums when it first came out. Many (including myself) didn’t get it. Then you see it in person and my goodness this watch is good. Just so so so good.
Rootbeer = yellow ... the new CHNR means Chocolat Noir ... so should be a dark beer or dark stout

I just recently got into the world of Rolex with my yacht-master 40 126622 and love it, but now I’ve found myself wanting this root beer more and more after I had said to myself that I’d only want one Rolex. Funny you posted this one. I was eyeing Clint Eastwood’s rootbeer rolex in the film “in the line of fire” last month which happened to be his personal watch
I do love the new rootbeer. I have seen it in person and would love to have it. I would choose it over the Pepsi or batman.

GMT Master II CHNR is a home run, well executed by Rolex. First two tone I've seen that I'd love to own someday.
I just can't decide which my favourite two tone rolex is... definitely between the sub bluesey and this new GMT root beer. I have always preferred either steel or precious metal but seriously considering a two tone. Thanks for the great video and history again

Hello, I'd really like to see your opinion about the Longines column-wheel singel push-piece chronograph L2.800.4.53.0 and you could eventually compare it with an A.Lange&Sohne 1815 chronograph, although thank you for your videos, they're the best watches videos I ever found !
I think the Root Beer is currently the most beautiful watch Rolex make.
Same same same! A close second is the all gold DayDate 36mm. There is just something about it that pleases me immensely (a year ago I HATED it!)

The vintage Rolex GMT Root Beer is handsome and the modr=ern Rolex GMT Rootbeer is awesome. I prefer the new Rolex GMT RB with the modern material and movement.
In the old days how did people get the real reference time to set their watches? I imagine every few days you would need to.

Get a steinhart pepsi gmt to hold ya over til you get the funds! I've worn many rolexes, and for $600 it's AS close as you'll get to feeling like you're wearing a master 2. Not to mention it's a great piece in it's own way as well.
Do you guarantee all your supplied Rolex boxes that come with the watch are genuine? I've heard some big name dealers with a good reputation supply fakes!

Putting the emphasis on beer in root beer sounds so wrong.
Its defiantly a cool watch, but imo black and brown have never gone together, and they stopped making the solid yellow gold gmt and the two tone yellow gmt, so the watch is basically dead to me, daytona here i come!

My issue with it is that it’s basically another diver’s watch. Rolex is the Audi of watchmaking. They just barely bother with designing anything new.
