2024 Boston Lion Dance (Chinese New Year) - Parade and CNY Stage Event in Chinatown

Don't forget - 🧧 Chinese New Year 2025 falls on Wednesday, January 29th, 2025 - where many celebrations happen around that date in many countries & cities around the world. Date for the 2025 Boston Lion Dance Parade is Sunday, February 9th to celebrate the Snake year, where hundreds or perhaps thousands attend the beautiful Asian Chinese celebration with many lion dancers & lion dance drumming along with loud red firecrackers in the streets.
Lion dancing by Boston Chinese Freemasons & Wah Lum Kung Fu & Tai Chi Academy, Gund Kwok Asian Women Female Lion Dance & Dragon Troupe, Woo Ching White Crane Kung Fu School, On Leung Chinese Merchants Association, Kwong Kow Chinese School, Wah Lum Boston Kung Fu, Wong Keung lion dance 舞獅 and dragon 龙 troupe, Calvin Chin Martial Arts Academy, Wong Family Association, and Wah May Nam Pai Kung Fu Academy. Many young generation were also doing the lion dance.
The lion dance exists in many countries such as Malaysia & China and Vietnam as well as Hong Kong & Singapore - which are foreign places in Asia that people can travel to see this beautiful art. Boston Chinatown and other Chinatowns in United States or USA along with other western nations such as London UK and Australia - also help to keep the art and culture alive.

Visited Gund Kwok display the Chinatown's museum. Wonderful collection of artwork. The Buddha wearing the large gold chain necklace looks like a souvenir necklace from the Boston Garden's gift shop. They sell something similar.
