I put my eyeshadow palettes on in a small bookshelf, all lined up like books. Much easier to organise and see. Maybe you could hang a curtain on the front to hide them, or something like a shelving unit with a door, like we all used to have for videos and DVDs.

What's funny is that when I'm doing my makeup, you'll just hear that HORRIBLE screech of each drawer being opened, usually multiple times per drawer, in quick succession. So it must sound like an orchestra of awful in there. But I just go through each drawer and stare for a while til I find the perfect thing!

Very helpful video! I desperately need cabinet storage, in lieu of portable, but haven't the room. Would pretty much give a lung for a dedicated makeup room.
I'm not going to lie - that was something so special to me that I do NOT take for granted. But don't underestimate the power of portable storage! Makeup rolling cases used to be my best friend.
Let me take a guess. The powder you have that the top fell off of is the Kosas setting powder. Omg!!! That is an expensive powder and for my lid to fall off-pissed! And, I’ve heard that it’s happened to a lot of people. Ugh! 😑
