PS: at 7:20, there are actually 3 requierements. You destroyed the turret and the shield at the gate, but there's a trigger you need to hit as well if you're not clearing out the enemies, if you hit that area, the mission will end no matter how many enemies are left, it's a bit after the downed pelican
