Great video ! and those vans I dont see them alot but they are awesome ! I just went to Rigs and Coffee and there were one Van like that as well and some other amazing overlanding rigs . I love going to events like that you can pick up some great ideas there .. can't wait to go next time there . hopefully next time I can record and interview more owners

I have a 2004 Chevy Express wheel drive lifted 3in from the suspension with Bilstein shocks and all-terrain tires, it's my Overland vehicle and much better as far as space than my lifted I will drive Astro, it also has the G80 rear Locker which is all I need! And I added a front limited-slip

I can't find the video on the specifics of the van. Did you decide not to make it? Am i lost looking for it? I love the build and would love to see the video on the specifics.

I don’t know about ultimate but I think that’s a sweet setup. Fir me ultimate would be the current Field Van E series Classic. They take a cutaway E series chassis, which is still in production, put their custom body in it, their proprietary 4wd system which uses Dynatrac axles, an Atlas Twin stick transfer case, the full Sportsmobile pop top and interior camper conversion, lockers, bumpers, etc. total beast. I have an older 7.3 Powerstroke E350, 4wd Sportsmobile and the new Classic is about the only thing in the world I would trade it for…. But at 250k it’s more of in your trophy category of van. But dayum… so sick. I was toying with the idea of doing a new Express van with the 6.6 gassser and doing a Quigley conversion for a daily driver, family hauler, and tow beast, that’s a pretty good value as tire rig too.
