Japanese style mayo -"kewpie" is much different to the western style mayonnaise. It's much thicker, less tangy and more creamy and definitely an acquired taste if you grew up eating only western-style mayonnaise.
xxid peace Looking at it, I got a feeling that would be the case. It looks way too creamy. I love mayonnaise but I have found that I only like a certain type and this Japanese one looks really thick. I don't know what brand they are using on here but I've tasted Japanese Mayonnaise before and it tasted good. This guy is overdoing it tho. Everything must be eaten within reasonable portions no matter how much you love it.

Actually the brand that they were using is Ottugi, a Korean brand. It is less creamy and more firm and thicker than Kewpie. But yes, it is much more creamy and less tangy to western versions. I personally like Kewpie more than Ottugi but both kinda works
Korean ottugi mayo taate better than kewpie...a lot less sour.. Creamy and the end taste is sweet..I can understand why he likes mayo on top of his food...korean mayo is good...

he may be not gain weight, but his cholesterol level may get higher everytime he ate mayonnasie. mayo have a lot of fat and cholesterol.
wawa inspirit agree! I'm actually surprised that no one put more concern about his health. Mayonnaise is basically a mix of oil and egg yolk. And a little bit of other ingredients to boost the taste. I've seen how mayo is made in my cooking class and surprised by how much oil in it just for a small bottle of mayo. Now I almost never touch it again 😂

The problem is that at one point you get sick of it..idk how to spell it in english but you know how when you eat a greasy food for many days in a row, you get sick of even seeing it? Kinda like after drinking too much. Just the sight of it makes you throw up. While this dude doesn't, the people around him do at one point. But then he keeps on forcing it on them...that's not really right if you ask me.

I kept thinking he was adding western style mayonnaise to everything but Japanese style mayonnaise, especially the Kewpie brand is way different. it tastes nothing like American mayonnaise and even though I hate mayonnaise I can actually eat it with fries like some people do.

I think that with kewpie mayo if you add it to food that's bland that has little seasoning it works because of how rich and salty it is but with things that are well seasoned and already salty it's too much because kewpie mayo is really salty there's a reason why it's always used sparingly

There's another concern like this. The girl put mayo on everything she ate. She even put it on her noodles called jajangmyeon (I don't know if that's how you spell it but either way) she put it on her jajangmyeon until the black color turn yellowish because of the amount.

I'm the same as you, I love eating food with chili sauce or mustard but the difference between us and the guy is that mayo isn't healthy and he is eating it in this kind of excess. Mayo is high in cholesterol and fat while chili isn't, I've read before that eating with chili is good for the metabolism.

Woah me too!i basically eat everything with chili sauce. Even sweet fritters like fried banana, fried tapai, fruit like pineapples, apples and rambutans ,chips, donuts. Etc. I like combination of sweet crunchy things with chili sauce. I also bake spicy chocolate brownies. It’s good! But my friend told me i’m weird.
