    Very nice CRV, in Australia we didn't get the 2.0 only the 2.4 vitec. Looks great in black. Whats the plans for yours ? I nearly at 12 months if owning mine and I love driving it... 🚙👍🇦🇺

    And don't forget the hidden camping table in the trunk... Which other SUV has this feature?

    Hi! Nice video. I have the same model, CRV 2.0 from 2004, very fun car. What tyre pressure do you use? In my case, 205 70 R15 96H manufacturer manual states 1.8 bar (27 psi) with low load, but I am under the impression that at this pressure wheels are somewhat loose.

      @bumcrackwatchco. 11 місяців тому +2

      Hi Dave , at that pressure you will have good grip , especially in rough / muddy conditions.. but for regular every day drives I'd be inclined to go 30 + 33 psi

      Hi, thank you very much..My tyre pressure is around 1,8 - 2 bar..It depends on when and what I am going to do..😊

    May I ask why did you exchange your gen2 to this gen2? :)

      Hi, thanks a lot! This black Honda is my 4th CRV. I had a 3rd gen first, traded that one in for a 2nd gen (grey). Later we were getting a second car for the family and bought a blue CRV before the facelift. I drove it for a while and modified it for cruising... Unfortunately, it was crashed on the highway by a van driver who fell asleep at the wheel... (I put a picture in the Community tab) We got this black one instead... 🙂

      Thank you, I'm very happy to hear that and it's a reason for me to continue building the channel...New videos will be coming soon, I'm working on one right now but the weather is messing it up a bit...It will be a comparison of CRV vs. RAV4...By the way, I sold my grey CRV and I'm getting my dream car instead...But I want to keep that as a surprise for the next videos 😉 Greetings to Lithuania!

    Nice video, though a bit short... 🙂
    Is it expensive a 2.0 gen2 where you live? Around here it's about 5-6000€ for 200k km. I think that's a lot

      Hi, thanks a lot 😉 I'm from the Czech Republic and our prices are similar. I bought this black CRV for about 5500 €. It is a very nice piece, so the price could have been much higher. It was a very good deal by local standards. Next time I will try to shoot something longer.. unfortunately it was a busy time. Look at the last video of the Subaru Forester... It's unbelievable what that car can do.

    • @rayal4860
      @rayal4860 10 місяців тому +2

      The prices are the same in Germany, Benelux, and I in France. Yes, a beautiful piece can be 2000€ more, it is crazy...
      The direct rivals (rav4, x-trail,...) are in the same prices, i think it is too much.
      I was buy mine in the UK for half the price, including travel.
      I had occasion to hesitate with the forester, I love the melody of the flat4!! But for the overconsumption of petrol, and the alternator consumption, i was choose the honda, in add the crv is more modifiable! 😎
      I have see the video of the forester, the crv can do it too... but with (simple) modifications! Why did not Honda propose them?! 🤯

      @@rayal4860Yes, it's a great shame the CRV wasn't fitted with a reduction gearbox and permanent 4x4 like the Forester. Looks like I'll be buying my dream car in a few weeks. But it's a secret for now 🙂 Until I have it... The black CRV will stay with us too though.

    • @rayal4860
      @rayal4860 10 місяців тому +1

      Yes it would have been terrible ! But for that the Honda crossroad gen1 exists!!
      But even without that, using parts already available in the Honda range they could have found a good profitable modifications. I would have loved a 'type s' version with an I/H/E for 180 HP, a shorter 1st and 2nd gear on gearbox (based on civic type r?), and a limited slip differential.
      Because Honda didn't do it, I am in the process to collect the parts to do it myself...
      I don't know how up to you want to modify your crv, but if you are interested, we will be discuss it.
      Ps If we have the same secret, it'll be a lada niva diesel powered, for to run with a raccoon oil!! 🙂🙂

    • @OutOfTheWay4x4
      @OutOfTheWay4x4  10 місяців тому +1

      @rayal4860 If I can get the new car, I'll stick with the original equipment CRV and focus on the other car. The Lada Niva was a dream to have when I was a kid.. I guess not now 🙂 Although offroad it's great. I'd have a hard time finding one with a diesel engine 😆 And where are you from?

    • @OutOfTheWay4x4
      @OutOfTheWay4x4  5 місяців тому +1

      Průměr je tak 9,2 - 9,5. V zimě není problém 11. Moje rekordy při klidné a delší cestě byly 7,5 - 8. Ale to mají všechny větší SUV s atmosférickým motorem okolo dvoulitru. Vše se ale kompenzuje tím, že člověk utrácí jen za základní servis. Mám několikátou CRV a je naprosto spolehlivá.Prostornost a kufr auta je taky super..Tady jsem dělal video o porovnání s Rav4..Jsou tam veškeré údaje o obou autech: ua-cam.com/video/Gvn7UadUgtY/v-deo.html

    Hey nice new CRv .. so how does the 2..0 petrol compare to the 2.2 diesel ?

    • @OutOfTheWay4x4
      @OutOfTheWay4x4  11 місяців тому +1

      Hi, thank you very much..2.2 diesel was more powerful and had less consumption..2.0 petrol is more dynamic and the engine is absolutely reliable and especially without turbo, dpf and other conveniences 🙂 It is quiet, does not smell from the exhaust, as diesel. It's nice to drive too..
