I gave melatonin to my patients if they have covid symptoms as part of the armamentarium of treating covid patients because my experience shows that it help many of my patients.
4 weeks since my COVID infection and I’m just now suffering from insomnia, slept 1 hour last night and tried to take melatonin to help me sleep without success 😔 I’ve never had issues sleeping
Me too since i got Corona 2 weeks ago. I never had problems wirh insomnia thats why I am so suprised. Its really terrible
I've been taking melatonin for at least 5 yrs straight. A low dose of .3mg. And now have covidsomnia. Personally I think it's worse for your sleep than better. It helps me fall asleep a bit quicker but I know I sleep shorter. And wake up a bit drowsy & depressed which takes a few hrs to lift. There was a time I stopped taking it for a week and noticed I was much happier and more cheerful... but it just takes forever for me to fall asleep normally & post omicron I barely sleep at all. I recently uppd my magnesium & zinc though which does seem to be helping a bit. Without making me groggy the next day.
@@323smor Same, and it sucks because I was just getting over insomnia from having low iron. I'm currently 6 weeks out.
I have a lot of trouble with sleeping since i got corona. I can stay awake for days still even if i go boxing and to gym… and i got NO Smell and NO taste… corona positive since 14th of March… i’m getting crazy. I use Melatonine also, but it doesn’t help for me…
I covis positive 40days ago, I been insomnia for the past 40days, can anyone help me, I m dying soon.
I have a 3 week of insomnia after COVID. I got COVID in the beginning of July and then 3 weeks later I have been having severe sleeping issues. I was not able to sleep at all or just slept less than 30 minutes a day for more than 10 days. Recently I am trying to take a nap when I am off.
@@Ana.Eunju.C I am really sorry for you! I know how bad it is. its just exhausting, for the body, for the soul, for everything.
I can give you some tipps which helped me really fast:
In the morning its important to get some daylight in your eyes for at least 30 mins, on the balcony or going for a walk. Then I changed up the sleeping position in bed. I slept on the left side instead of the right side. Just chanigng up positions, so that your brain is not connecting the position with the insomnia. In the evening I drank a sleeping tee with calming herbs in it. And I took some Magnesium, Ashwaghanda and Oleuropin 30 mins before bed. Oleuropin can help to reduce the virus in the body (there are some studies). I dont know what of these exactly helped me. Maybe everything, maybe just one thing, I dont know but it worked really fast.I wish you best and I am sure you can sleep soon. :)
doc im taking sleepwell before bedtime, hirap po kc ako makatulog...

1 1 1 ❤️
Nope.
BTW. This is actually a real good video on melatonin as most videos over recommend it without getting into the side effects. I may stop taking it as it's clearly not helping me anymore & is likely making my sleep worse. Extended release melatonin might work better but it also may wear off slower when you do wake up leading to more grogginess. I don't wanna find out.
