I'm not sure if Ukraine will still exist by Jan 21 2025. The "kilometers per day" manner of Ukraine slowly losing the war will not stay consistent. Most of Ukraine's military is stacked up near the line of contact. This continues until their supply of "conscripts" runs out. At the current pace of Russian advances, Ukraine's supply of conscripts will run out long before Russia advances all the way to Kyiv. When the supply runs out, the war will rapidly change to a much faster pace of advancement. The map doesn't tell whether Ukraine will last till Jan 2025. Ukraine's dwindling supply of potential conscripts does. If Ukraine's claimed losses were accurate, they could hold on for many _years_ but we all know those numbers are fictional. Nobody is certain how many able-bodies citizens are still in Ukraine, nor how many soldiers Ukraine has lost. But those unknown numbers define how long the war can last. My guess is that it cannot last another year, and it's very debatable whether they could last until January.

People talking about Biden stepping down should remember that some states do not allow the name on the ballots to be changed. Nevada I think.
That is only one issue. Millions of votes have been cast for Biden already in the primaries...the "defenders of democracy" would be effectively throwing them all out if they just change the nominee by decree of the DNC. Also the only realistic name being floated is Gavin Newsom who runs the disastrous State of California, so at best he might stop the bleeding slightly.
I think that you could still vote for another candidate via writing the name in. For example if Biden dropped out and Newsom ran in his place, in Nevada you would still be able to vote for Newsom by writing in his name. It's a disadvantage, but probably better than running Joe Biden.

the maneuver in Kharkov was brilliant. Ukranus took first echelon manpower and materiel from everywhere else...a lot of it got destroyed en route. Trying to cross the river has cost Ukranus massively.
the front line is moving a few hundred meters west every day in one place or another while the AFU futilely cling to positions they have no business trying to hold and which have relatively low strategic value. there will be no money or real weapons coming to them after the US debate...the Democrat party isn't even sure who its candidate will be and there is nobody to carry the torch for this war now. The "kilometers per day" manner of Ukraine slowly losing the war will not stay consistent. Most of Ukraine's military is stacked up near the line of contact. This continues until their supply of "conscripts" runs out. At the current pace of Russian advances, Ukraine's supply of conscripts will run out long before Russia advances all the way to Kyiv. When the supply runs out, the war will rapidly change to a much faster pace of advancement.
The map doesn't tell whether Ukraine will last till Jan 2025. Ukraine's dwindling supply of potential conscripts does. If Ukraine's claimed losses were accurate, they could hold on for many _years_ but we all know those numbers are fictional. Nobody is certain how many able-bodies citizens are still in Ukraine, nor how many soldiers Ukraine has lost. But those unknown numbers define how long the war can last. My guess is that it cannot last another year, and it's very debatable whether they could last until January.
