It’s quite annoying these UA-cam stars pushing all the aftermarket parts we must have. You’re quite right, stuff is not cheap....
I’ve got GPM’s 4140 6mm CVD’s at all 4 corners, 6mm center dog bones, and the 4140 52t spur as well.
Super happy with these parts so far. I’ve bought aluminum GPM parts in the past and these are night and day higher quality.
Now that sledge with max 8 you can convert it to 8s on the sledge and it will go faster. Your sledge will go 150mph easily. Faster then a Erevo

Looks like that system has way more power than the castle one did. I think I will get the same for my Sledge.

Hello 🖐 I recently bought a max8 g2 4278 2250kv combo, and in my combo there are no additional cables to solder on another motor, and the color of the thermal sheaths at the ends of the wires already soldered on the motor they are blue young orange not black like yours, Do you have any idea why it's like this in my house? Or if it's normal? 🤔 Thank you in anticipation! 🖐
What do you mean castle is loud? My castle fans are much quieter than hobbywing, and I like how the fan only comes on when you need it!

None. But I know what you mean. With the Traxxas motor mount I found the mesh to be a little loose.
I just installed my combo today took it out for a spin worked fine for a couple minutes then it would stop only got steering then when I reset it would go any suggestions why?

Where did u get the new g2 system I can't seem to find the motor I see the esc but not the motor I would love to find the combo I would hope that it would be cheaper

Isn't that esc combo over $200? You got a new esc and motor but you said the aftermarket motor mounts are expensive? IDK. The hobby is expensive anyway. Why not add the extra $75 and get a motor mount that can use anyway gear ratio?
