Bikepacking the EPIC Second City Divide Route

Me an my endurance extraordinaire teammate Hannah Larbalestier fancied a little bit of a bike packing trip. We headed out using the Second City Divide Route as a guide, leaving from Haltwhistle with the aim of arriving in Manchester within 3 days. The route was incredible, with every bit of terrain and incredible views.

Love to mention that my great great grandfather was maintenance engineer on the Ribble Viaduct and lived in a cottage at the far end, while his daughter was a barmaid in the pub at the road end.
Unfortunately, he was blown-up while mining the Pennines railway tunnel.
He's buried in Chapel-le-dale cemetery (Mason).
