I'm an apprentice barber - I watched this video a while back and didnt think much of it, I didnt see any skill and thought it was a bad haircut. Now that I learned more I can see the skill and technicality in this, not everything has to be connected. You can create shapes and silhouettes and visually blend, create nice contours and remove weight in the right areas to create visually pleasing haircuts. Great haircut and skilful barber!
Hey sorry for this dumb question but not all people know what a two block haircut is. Could I just tell my hairstylist that I don't want them to cut too far up on the sides and I'll just use my hand to show them up to where they can cut. Could I say something like that?? Not sure if it makes sense.
@@Danny-id3fe you need to find a good hairstylist. Look on Instagram for pictures of their work and if they have experience in two block. Ask them if they do. Most won't understand what to do.
This haircut is popular in Asia, so if you are not Asian for sure you will not be able to relate and you will not be able to appreciate.
I still would never recommend this haircut to any of my clients but there is a skill behind it which makes it a good haircut verses someone just cutting it at home like a bowl

This is the best type of two-block-the longer hair on top reaches the eyes in front but doesn't reach the ears on the sides.
