[SMRT] Alstom Movia R151 [813/814] - Pasir Ris » Tampines (EWL)

Finally 813/814 has entered service, on 10 June 2024 as T341, the last train to Tuas Link. 2 days later the train is operating as Last Train to Pasir Ris.
This train is quite special to me, as it was the very first R151 I saw getting delivered, and the very first one I saw testing. To see this train finally in service is quite rewarding.
This train has tested on the North-South Line very frequently, as well as occasionally on the East-West Line. This train also tested on the Changi Airport Line once in April.
Before its debut it completed its final testing on the East-West Line.
Also notice the CLD display no longer displays 4 languages flashing across the screen barely readable, and is updated to only showing the language text of the announcement. The other R151 known to have this update is 839/840. Not so sure about the rest.
SGT2581 Announcement: With LTA announcing the retirement of the First, Second and Third Generation Trains in Singapore, (Kawasaki Heavy Industries Contract 151, Siemens Aktiengesellschaft C651 and Kawasaki Nippon Sharyo C751B), both of us will be filming more of these trains on both NSL and EWL, to commemorate the great service that these trains have provided.

Nope. They should be only activated once 201/202 and 237/238 are decommissioned.
