마스크 라인이 1픽셀이라도 화면 밖으로 나가면 깜박임이 발생합니다. 마스크 라인을 화면 밖으로 나가지 않게 하면 문제가 해결됩니다. Flicker occurs when the mask line is out of the screen even by 1 pixel. Not making the mask line off screen solves the problem.
Very helpful! Original tutorial from Video Copilot uses blending mode "screen" and I got problem with white background. This video solved my problem. Excellent job~
If you have a layer selected and you search for an effect to apply to the layer then in your effects and presets tab when you find the effect all you have to do is double click on it and it will be applied to the layer. You don't need to drag and drop. We've always been able to do this.
thanks for the tutorial. in the future, you may want to make thinks brighter/more exaggerated for the purposes of a tutorial, so that viewers may better see objects on a screen.

Don't feel like Roughen Edges/Fractal noise/Colorama was really that neccessary but overall looks awesome. I've used saber many times but as single effect and not duplicating it with different settings. Great job man!

Thanks for tutorial. When I duplicate saber for the first time and change render settings to composite add/disable it adds a black background so when I press toggle for transparency view I can see a black background for a couple of moments and it looks not right. Basically speaking when I add this effect on the other video I can see black background for few moments. Please advise how to solve this issue. Many thanks.

Keeping the mask line from going off screen solves the problem. If the mask line goes out of the screen even a little bit, black flickering occurs.
