I got a brochure through the post today. Unfortunately there was nothing about cost which makes me think they might be out my price range. I'd rather not give up my mobility allowance.
This is very impressive but all the videos including one by the makers never show you what is involved in fitting the telescopic fold-away/fold-out ramp that the Quingo Flyte is sold with. I can't find out if removal of the ramp leaves a permanent obstruction inside on the floor of the back of the car thus taking up luggage space. Videos just show the ramp being used - neat little remote control and the scooter folds down flat - and the ramp neatly folds in under it and away you go. But also these videos never show what kind of suspension it has and how effective it is at absorbing shock through your backside and giving spinal discs a hard time. I just wish video makers would address the more technical instead of the populist notion of the useful gimmicks designed in.
@W.S K.E Not at present but I am sure the manufacturer would arrange to export one if required. you can get in contact with them via their website www.quingo.com
Why put a patent on something so good and keep it fron everyone being able to benefit from it. Must not be that good or someone is out to get rich on the back of people with disabilities. If im wrong contact me and lets get a test chair sent out to me so I can believe the hype and pass it on to my hundreds of friends looking for a better chair.
I found your information on my Medicare supplier's site in Valparaiso, IN, USA and will be speaking with John regarding any purchase. My previously custom built 3 wheeler lasted for 20 years! Your's looks like a possible replacement.
Beware, they are no better then other scooters but are over 4x the price in most cases. You will pass the test no problems though ... you could be dead and in a coffin and the sales shark will still pass you :(
@@StrainCheck420 I agree my strider st6 can turn corners better than this and is half the price one other thing is who needs 5 wheels when there are better safety inclines
I've been seriously considering getting one of these scooters I do have one question though. Is it easy or difficult for a paraplegic to transfer into either the passenger front seat or drivers seat of a car from one of these scooters?
I love how you've used one of the largest road going mobility scooters on the market to show how unmaneuverable 4 wheeled mobility scooters are. Why not try one that is at least comparable to the Quingo, such as the Pride Go Go Sport or Colt Sport?? No, you wouldn't want to do that would you? People would then be able to see it drive around those barriers with ease wouldn't they?! It angers me SO much when supposed mobility scooter companies use scaremongering tactics and highlight a problem that actually doesn't exist. There is absolutely no problem with 3 and 4 wheeled mobility scooters. Of all the scooters I get offered as donations to my shop, the Quingo is always up there. People hate them once they've driven one for a short time. I haven't accepted one to this day and I have no intention of ever doing so. As of today - 24th April 2023, Quingo scooters range from £2895 - £7595 which is utterly scandalous!!

I am onto my second Quingo and can highly recommend them got the Plus this time as I live in a very hilly place and find the extra power a bonus.
Very glad you are enjoying your Quingo!

I certainly would not compromise the tyres on my powerchair by going up and down kerbs or steps.
Powerchairs are no the same as scooters in any way.
not a bad review mark
Very nice and very good
Can the suspension be made softer to make a smoother ride i have just brought the new 5 wheel one thank you.
Do you sale those in the U.S.A?
I wanna to buy one but I live in Japan, is it possible
Can they ride on a city bus?
If you are asking for UK yes not sure on other countries

hudlmaniac One of our advisers would be happy to discuss this with you further. Please call free on 0800 731 3376 if you would like more help.
I'm going to wait a couple of week until I get my new motability car then I will definitely be in touch.
Don't buy one, expensive and break down every use ... a skateboard is more reliable ...

A lot of lyrics but a cruel lack of demonstrations on the road as well as the operation of the scooter. Just a comparison to sell...
