We moderators were among the first to hear about this story, but asked to leave it up to him if he wants to share it, since it is so very personal. I remember hearing it after I had seen the tree for the first time. A night in spring, in full bloom. It was so beautiful all on its own already, almost seemed to glow with its own light, the only tree in the forest that can never be cut down. Knowing the story behind it, makes it even more beautiful, the impression that it leaves even deeper and more lasting. It is a memory of a precious love and, from what it sounds like, a wonderful woman. It reminds us that such people and such love exist in the world and how lucky we are if we encounter them and get share with them every moment that we get. Thank you for sharing it with us. Thank you for reminding us.

I was 'with him' as he went through the situations and changes desscribed in your videe. I can't begin to thank you for doing this for Martin ... I accidentally came across this tree after playing over 200 hours of Medieval Dynasty the other day. I had seen it before but never stopped to really look at it, not had I heard the story. I knew it different when approaching it didn’t tell me what kind of tree (maple, spruce’, birch) and the area was just so calming and lovely. I felt compelled to experience it. I looked around, enjoyed the beautiful white spring blossoms on its leaves and for some reason felt compelled to make sure to leave as untouched as I found it. Today I searched for this tree and found your video. This is so touching ❤

I heard about the story about this tree a few days ago and it literally touched me to tears.
The way it is presented here in this video and told by Hectic Nasari has again touched me deeply.

Medieval Dynasty is a beautiful game. All of the seasons have incredible beauty. I now have them set on 5 days. This story is heartwarming and shows extraordinary compassion by the dev team. I was only thinking the other day if something happened to me, my son could log in to my account and walk through my dream village and sit a while in the orchard. I have no idea why I thought it, I guess i thought it was a way of connecting with someones spirit, something they created, a perfect memory of a happy content family and then today I hear this story. Beautiful, thanks.

I am truly sorry for your loss, my heart goes out to you and your family. Yes, the Memorial Tree is definitely a place anyone can visit and remember love ones lost. This is why the name the developers gave the tree is so fitting. They named it the Memorial Tree which is very general in itself and there is no written sign indicating it's location. This allows any player to refer to the tree as they see fit. So for Martin, this will always be Lijda's Tree and for you, it can be your Great Aunt's tree. Thank you very much for watching the video.
