I really need to read an Abby Jimenez book. All I hear is positive reviews. 😊 May was a mixed bag for me: horror short story collections, horror, hard hitting stories, and mangas. I read 13 books as of today and just to give you an idea of how mixed it was, of those books I’ve read Blood On the Tracks volumes 1-3, Perfect Peace by Daniel Black, Only For the Week by Natasha Bishop, and recently Long Shot by Kennedy Ryan. I’ll have to take it easy next month. 😂
My favorite reads were Interview with the vampire by Anne rice City of fire by don Winslow i really enjoyed this crime thriller it's part of a trilogy A very private school by Charles Spencer memoir Binding 13 by chloe Walsh it's good but like saving 6 it's a slow burn
The Housemaid-Freida McFadden The Inmate-Freida McFadden Deep in my Feelings-AC Taylor Were the books that I read this month. I’m excited to read Neighbors Favor for the reason that you hated it. I feel like the emails will help me speed through it. I’m looking for some books I can fly through this month.
May wasn't a good reading month for me either here's what I read The green mile by Stephen king A very private school by Charles Spencer memoir City of fire by don Winslow Murtagh by Christopher paolini It happened one summer by tessa bailey Binding 13 by chloe Walsh Steelstriker by marie lu How to end a love story by yulin kaung Interview with the vampire by Anne rice
Book slumps suck, but the good thing is that they teach you to DNF a book that you are not enjoying no matter how much other people say that they loved a book. The books I read in May: Teach Me by Olivia Dade (a nice romance book in the enemies to lovers category, I am planning to read more by her) The Arrangement (Book 1 of the Arrangement Series) by Kiersten Modglin (this was a crazy series) The Atonement (Book 2 of the Arrangement Series) by Kiersten Modglin The Amendment (Book 3 of the Arrangement Series) by Kiersten Modglin Past Perfect by Danielle Steel Rebel by Beverly Jenkins (this is book 1 of a trilogy and I am looking forward to reading the other 2 books in the trilogy) Did You Hear About Kitty Karr by Crystal Smith Paul (I enjoyed this book but I did not care the last chapter, it was still a good read) The Unhoneymooners by Christina Lauren (I don't think they are the author for me, this book felt too long) Between the Wild Branches by Connilyn Cossette (biblical fiction, I really enjoy her books) Perfectly Nice Neighbors by Kia Abdullah (this was good, a little thought provoking) Navy Wife by Debbie Macomber (a nice quick easy read, a palette cleanser for me)
Now I don’t know if I want to read the neighbor favor 😂😂😂😂 and funny story sounds so good!

I've had children of blood and bone on my shelves for the longest time. Intimidated by the size 😂
