- // MY FIRST WEEK BEING IN ENGAGED! This is a week in my life in NYC after getting engaged on December 15! I wanted to share a normal weekly vlog but talking about getting engaged. I will have an engagement q&a and a story video up as soon as I'm back with Aidan, but for now, here's a happy week in my life enjoying my first week being engaged in NYC!

Obviously you don't have to show us everything but I would love to see some wedding planning vlogs!! Trying on some dresses, testing cakes, any of it. For some reason I just really love weddings and event planning so that stuff is fascinating to me!

Don’t stress about planning a wedding!! Take a big deep breath. This is your day. Make decisions to make you both happy. Do things that make you happy not other people around you. I promise if you give yourself ample time and you will do great.
You deserve this and I am so happy for you. I married and had kids in my early 20’s and my husband and I are more grateful every day that we made those decisions then (when everyone said we were too young to ‘settle’).

So so so excited for you and Aiden!! As you are preparing for marriage and the wedding, a friend told me that it is good and wise to take more time to prepare more for your marriage than your wedding. The wedding is only one day! I would personally like to hear more about how to adjust and prepare for marriage! Love you Michelle!!

I’m not sure where your family lives in Texas but my cousin just had her wedding at a venue called The Bell Tower on 34th in houston and it was the most beautiful venue I’ve ever seen. 😍 If you’re in the houston area you should definitely check it out

Hey Michelle! Congrats on your engagement! I’m so happy for you. 💕I got married in February 2019, and just like you, had a wedding back home in Puerto Rico (I live in Chicago). Planning a wedding long distance can be hard BUT remember not to get stressed over the little things. I had the best, simplest, most fun wedding and it was thanks to my family who helped me plan it. I’m sure your family will support you with planning as well. Praying for you and your marriage!
