It shouldn't break your heart. She mentioned it's part of the story she wanted to tell her guests. Her mom walking her halfway, kissing her and then her walking the rest of the aisle as symbol of her walking her life independently and finding her way to Justin aweeee, they were tears of joy ❤️
Her father is more accepting of Justine then his parents are of her. I’m assuming he couldn’t make the wedding because he’s back in Dubai. Otherwise I believe he’d have walked her. And as the person above explained her mama did accompany her part of the way.
This video made me so emotional! Congratulations on your marriage. My husband and I are also an interracial couple. He is Mexican and I am African American. My parents were always accepting of my husband. As for his family, he was the only one out of 10 children who married outside of their race. At first, my in laws weren’t thrilled about me. I think it was mostly because they didn’t know any better. Once they took the time to get to know me and saw how much I loved their son, they were on board. When we had our 1st child, it sealed the deal. By the time the twins came, they were head over heels in love with our children. They would always tell us how proud they were of us for raising such great kids and how beautiful our mix was. I became very close with my mother and father in law. They were really my 2nd parents. My mother in law passed away a little over 3 years ago. I miss her every single day. Ironically, she passed exactly 3 weeks after my dad died. My dad and my husband were also very close. Give your mother in law some time. She will soon understand that love is the most important factor, not the color of your skin. I’m sure she wants her son to be happy. Since she hasn’t been around the two of you, she probably does not have a clue as to how happy her son is with you. BTW, my husband and I have been married for almost 23 years now and we’re still going strong. Just remember to always be there for each other. Together, you can weather any storm.

Glad it all worked out. For both of your guys family. I'm also married into a other nationality. And it has a struggle. It was very hard for me because being Mexican we are very united, warm and caring family. No matter how great I was for their white son it was meaningless.
Married 20 yrs strong and we are still very much in love 💕 and our children are thankfully to the lord 👑 and our hard work and dedication, our children are all achievers healthy well balanced children with lots of love. God bless us all humans.

This world would be a better place if we all realized the common thread that unites us as humans. My father in law (who is Hispanic) told his sons to never marry a Black woman. Goes to show you how the universe works, they BOTH married Black women. He did come to our wedding and he did a toast letting the wedding attendees know that he use to have such a low opinion of Black people (the audience was dominantly Black) and that he since has changed his mind. It was a beautiful thing to see.

I'm glad you overcame that. May love hold you two together. My father is Hispanic and mother is black and was treated differently on both sides but my father loved my mother till the end of his death 3 years ago. The family eventually came around when I was born 51 years ago but there was still some prejudicial hardships but love prevailed. Never let someone's prejudice or racist views define who you should love.
I am White and ended up with a Black guy that is Aferican American and my stepdad would not never approve but my mom accepted him and love him to deaf she is very glad that I met him and my mom used to be very raceiest used to make remarks and now she is not raceiest at all and she doesn't make remarks at all about Black people anymore

I think the guy who said that was her brother. He looks too young to be her father, plus he was in the groom’s party. Her father would not be in the groom’s party. Sarah said at the end, “We love you guys.” Also, she walked down the aisle alone, without her father. Sadly, I don’t think he came.

baiart bailey I always say when they bring their children into a foreign country and another culture they should not expect their children to go looking for someone with the same culture as they are.
