I have always wondered what the 1000`s of "normal" guns that are in the racks go for at the auctions... I`m a South African gun enthusiast in economic exile in the UK where I can`t even own a BB Gun without being strangled by red tape, so as much as I love seeing all of the exotic stuff going under the gavel, i`d love to sit and watch what the less collectible items fetch...
'Even you could start a Colt collection'. Well, old 'even me' doesn't have an extra few grand banging around to add a Colt to my own minimal collection. Never thought I'd get here in my old age, but I'm living check to check now. Pretty sad, really.
