First off i think you guys are great and doing yall thang i do think some things could help. Although i agree luffy is a more popular character currently and still on his journey so it would make sense that its more impactful in essence Naruto is like an older man who has seen the world passing comparing to luffy who is more like a young kid or teen who still has dreams to accomplish so in essence its more tragic . i think for a DEBATE format this is a really random matchup when clearly one piece is as big as its ever been at its peak and clearly Naruto is past its peak with the show being over had you asked this question while Naruto was still airing itd be a whole different convo as one piece was not nearly as popular lets not forget pain fights individually both Naruto and jiraya sent the Internet in a spiral way before the Internet was as mainstream and social as it is today so overall for a more interesting video it would've been nice if you choose specific times for them to die like Naruto in the war or luffy against kaido and then had a conversation about it much more interesting to think about than an obvious current time popularity contest where i dont even need to watch the video to know the answer that being said i like the format of the video and think you guys could definitely do alot better in convo had you guys choose something that would be difficult or creative to discuss you guys seem cool too also its important when having a debate that one side can voice their piece uninterrupted even if you disagree and then ask questions or propose flaws in their logic then you have an actual debate instead of just disagreeing laughing and talking over someone trying to speak their point you just end up looking rude or like you dont know how to intelligently respond so you talk over its very frustrating to the consumer who click the video for a DEBATE to see the number one debate rule and a respect rule broken .😂😂 Im only this passionate because i like the format you guys seem pretty chill and i think with a little more thought in topics and patience when ones speaking you guys can be really entertaining and have some interesting things to bring up to the anime community sorry if anything seemed offensive i honestly wish the best for you all im coming for from a constructive place and just want to see yall do your thing.
Nahhhh, you’re right i like this breakdown fr. We definitely have offline discussions about letting each other talk and/or how to stop each other from yapping. The problem with naruto dying is that it should have happened already if they were planning to kill him off. The only reason naruto was sealed away in a unconscious state in a unknown and unreachable dimension is because the writers knew that they couldn't kill naruto off, so they essentially did the next best thing and written him out of the story. Even if naruto is no longer the mc, the series as a whole is still named after him. Naruto is a FAR TOO IMPORTANT to be killed off. The ONLY way they could justify naruto dying is the final battle of the whole series. And naruto already had that moment in shippuden. That is why no matter how much boruto fans hate hearing it, I will keep saying this one line: "naruto is more important than boruto even in boruto's own show." The only reason the boruto series even exist is because naruto is still alive in his adult years. Even if luffy is very important to the story of one piece, the series isn't named after him. The Naruto series is about the character naruto. While the one piece series is about finding the one piece, it is not necessarily about luffy. Luffy is just the mc of one piece. To put it in other words. The naruto series couldn't exist without naruto, but the one piece could exist without luffy.
Luffy would be more inpactful Boruto and sarrada is Naruto and Sasuke legacy so it only right that they die. I watch Naruto first grew up with him but it Boruto show so if Naruto die i would think that good writing. Luffy death even if expected will still hurt me more

Luffy. It's not even much of a debate. Naruto "died" a long time ago. The character and the series are a distant memory for most people. Luffy just going Gear 5 was on the news in other countries. If he died it wouldn't just shake the internet. Japan would lose their shit if Oda genuinely killed him off and never brought him back.
