That bone looks like it came from a human thigh. I definitely agree with your theory that the mud/sediment was washed into the cave when the land was originally cleared by the first settlers.
That cave, if properly excavated, would probably yield bones from 10,000 years ago, from the Ice Age. Watching Beau crawl around on that rocky ground made my elbows, knees and back hurt. I use to cave back when I was a teen ager in the 70s and it was pretty rough going then. Caving is certainly a pursuit of passion.
One of the reasons I watch these videos (aside from the fact that Aquachigger is AWESOME) is that it helps me to confront my claustrophobia in a safe, low stress way. Knowing that I can always just pause the video or look away helps keep my anxiety low, while still forcing me to have the uncomfortable experience that triggers my claustrophobia. Bet you didn't know you're part of mental health treatment plans, did you Chigg? LOL
The bat was very cool. Glad he wasn't disturbed enough to break hibernation. It's fun that you and your wife (use to?) explore together. Really enjoy your vlogs. I like the doodlebugging but, not many spelunkers out there have posted content as much you have and caving is much neater than gold :). Thanks for dragging us along. God Bless & Stay Safe
I'll be digging deeper into Lloyd's Lair this summer , I noticed after digging out mud and sediment last year that theres a spot where rain water drains rapidly. I have discovered large bones as well as an old belt buckle burried in the sediment, since the war of 1812 came right through my back yard I'm wondering if the bones might in fact be human , perhaps even the bones of a injured soldier that may have taken shelter inside the cave and died . Spooky ! Love your videos and channel Beau , keep them coming and I'll keep on watching .
So the cave was probably a lot more open in the 17 and 1800s? It made me nervous and claustrophobic seeing you squeeze down in there with modern powerful flashlights, ladders and other safety equipment. Can you imagine going down in there in the 1700s with only a torch light or lantern or something?
Hi A, wow an impressive cave.... and to see all those dates and names scratched into the walls of a cave located out in the middle of no where is amazing....
I am curious, I know there is alot of clay there, but is the yellow stones I am seeing Yellow Jasper by chance? Also if it was possible to dig all the clay and rocks out,I wonder how deep it really is and what all animal bones are there, and if any thing like cave drawing there perhaps burried by the clay? Would make a great archeological dig !
The Mushroom Man (My Dad) says that's probably a Phycomyces species of fungi @ the 7:42 ish mark. It grows on animal poo. Better you than me. Not a small cave guy
I know this is a year later but don't care. I got a book on mushrooms, no way I could remember them all, I never realized how many different kinds there was.
I've only been back into two or three cave since I've watched those descent movies I don't know if it has anything to do with it or not but that was a pretty rough movie for caversespecially the part was great when the little whatever they are the Hawaii animals that lived in the cage was sticking their butt over and sitting in the water
Thanks for showing the Bear Trap Cave again, Beau. You always say if we see something you missed to mention it, so i will. i noticed something when you were in there before with Lindsey and again this time. There may be a semi small, like a dragon of perhaps a couple hundred foot or so, in that cave. There are some rocks in there that look like dragon scales. Saw some in another area you were metal detecting too. Also during the time period of the late eighteen fifties to eighteen sixty or so, there was a mud flood that covered the earth. We have local California photos of the area of Sacramento that was covered with twenty foot of water in eighteen sixty two. Some friends of mine were allowed to go into the underground city under the city of Vallejo, Ca in the seventies and do some exploring, as they owned property in that area and the evidence was there to support the underground cities there were mud flooded. The bottom line is .... Ya just don't know what's under that dirt until ya dig it. Ya Dig It? : )
I saw a bone that size a man had in his closet. The bone had a large dovetail drove slam through it,an inch of the point all the way through. I asked where he got that, he said a cave in Tennessee. He also had three clovis' glued to a board on the wall, glued. I never even found half of one.
Hey chigger, this is Bill the Desert Fox. I have found out by trial and error that if you use a red , blue or green light (some of the headlamps have them) and shine them one at a time on the names in the cave you should have no problem seeing them clearly. Also try UV aka black light. Will be starting my own channel on here within a month and will text you when I download it. Love your channel and look forward to the new ones. Keep an eye open for Desert Fox Exploring. You be safe in your travels and may your finds be many. Take care out there. Bill Fox
You should get an RC car with a POV setup to get down in those tight places. Just keep a rope tied to it in case of a drop off or if it gets stuck... Just a thought
I just discovered your channel.. I love love love it.. New sub here 🙋♀️ I would take all the skulls and nice rocks home lol. You found so many nice looking skulls also in previous vids I watched, I wouldn't be able to let them behind 😂
That looked extremely fun. I'm not a bone expert but I've done some research and that femur bone has some similar characteristics to a human femur. You should take it to a local college or museum and get it checked out.
In the shadows of the night a creature emerges. The temperature drops, the atmosphere darkens, and an eerie chill descends over the land. Suddenly, you are overwhelmed with despair and hatred. Be on your guard - a wraith is nearby.
Hey, I'm glad y'all had a good time-"bearly" - ya'd NEVER get me in there in a million years! Now for certain: Be SAFE, take care, "GOD Bless", sincerely -
@@kathleennorton6108 yep probably a lot of Permineralized creatures been encased for millions of yrs maybe in last million slowly started to get released by the water flowing through. I have been so surprised by cleaning of what many would say was just a rock to find it was saturated by silt and clay , calcium carbonate under Neath and inside was pack with fossil sections
You could try applying a luminous solution to the markings and then hit it with your black light that way you could potentially get better readings. Just a suggestion though; love the videos
I wonder if the large bone is from something a smaller animal brought in. I know that coyotes will drag off bones from a carcass. Just a thought. Take care.
it could have just washed down there too, especially if it was still decomposing and bouyant. It seems a bit unlikely a bear died down there but theres only one bone remaining
What a great adventure! Wouldn't you Love to find an ancient bear skull, a cave bear? Under all that mud it's hard to tell what might be there but an adventure in itself to find out. Any plans for excavating? Thanks Kindly for all these adventures! Love, Light, Peace and Cave Bear Skulls to You, your Friends and Family! DaveyJO in Pa.
This is awesome, and seems to have absolutely erased even the thought I've had of claustrophobia. Now if only we could bring a whole band down and do an acoustic album..

I think Chigg was a groundhog in a past life. Loves those caves!
Samsquatch !🐒💨
Looks like a place they go to die when sick or old.
I've been waiting for a return to the bear trap cave for a while. Did not disappoint! Not that your videos ever really do, they're all fun. 😄

I love how you filmed this felt like I was in that cave with you had me flinching and everything you’re brave for being in that cave
Rc car and a gopro mounted on it could be handy for exploring this cave
That's a great idea
Great cave experience thanks for taking us along 👍

Boshi Yoshi agreed, this has me wondering if there is yet a larger undiscovered portion of the cave whit who knows what inside 😱❤️👍
Hi A, wow an impressive cave.... and to see all those dates and names scratched into the walls of a cave located out in the middle of no where is amazing....
I would never do this. I went caving once and enjoyed it but once was enough and nothing like what your doing. Enjoy living vicariously through you.
Must have been a Samsquish to hang down there ! Hee! Good slithering.
Wow that was great thanks❣️
There was a time I would have been more than happy to join you, getting stuck once was enough to cure me of the adventure
Love what your doing! Stay safe!! I get claustraphobia watching you. Always on my seat!
Shine a light across the names from one side or the other so the scratching makes some shadow line, help make them more readable.
Great video. Cool cave! Love the attention to detail with the plant, fungus, claw scratches, and natural forces. Thanks for sharing!

Aquachigger...the Steve Irwin of cave exploring
Andrew Valentino Steve Irwin passed away. Not a good
Andrew Valentino he def is!
Sure glad you are willing to do this so I can enjoy it without severe pucker sensations..... Cool video
I do not have Claustrophobia, but I still on occasion get claustrophobic feels when I watch these caving videos.
@@davidmlong63 yep, but love them
I'd have no problem even as a non-caving individual but I definitely would not touch some hairyfunguy!

living through you .... I could never do this... i like food too much lol Great cool video
Your knowledge blows me away.
Another super adventure. Thank you for sharing. Wow 😳
What's a wraith and where in the video did you encounter it?

Chiggs I grew up in the pine barrens in NJ and it amazes me how different the terrain is just a couple states over. Wow!
Chigg you make me nervous in those caves but fun to watch you do it
Hmm.. with those date and signature scratches, I'm beginning to think that there isn't any place left on earth where someone hasn't already been.

What would you think about using a high pressure wash like a fire hose to wash all that mud down?

River hunters starts in the uk 18th March on history channel, just seen the advertisement promoting the show.
This was a wonderful discovery. The actual landowner has a real gem on his hands.
Glad to see a new cave video

Your videos are a great inspiration to get outdoors. Thanks
I can hardly watch this, but can't stop!
you need a r c car with a go pro mounted on it an a rope to go in the small holes and use the rope to keep it from fall off any cliffs or pull it back

trying to go where no man has gone before another great video thanks Aquachigger .
No way you could get me in there. No way. Got 😨 seeing it.
Love ur cave adventures i can watch u all day! Keep exploring and stay safe...btw great video thanks!
Chiggs at about 19:00 there looks to be huge claw marks in the wall but right near the raccoon poo at the bottom.
That is either a bear femur or a human femur bone. I couldn't tell you which. Could be a bear or a native american buried in the cave.
Glad you made it back.

Nerves of steel, thanks for your hard effort and time...
Scary AF! Thanks so much for allowing me to experience what I could never do myself.
@18:16 looks like a tipped over old cup?
vic fisher definitely!
Vickie, yeah but the footage was too quick to make a positive id, but just that glimpse it sure looked like an old cup upside down .
Thank you for the insight into the caves. I could never go down in one so I appreciate the view!
Love the cave videos chigg.
2:30 on the ceiling I see what could be a petroglyph but definitely I see what looks like smoke residue from a burning torch.
At 16:30 it looks a bit "organic", so to speak.

Sporting a nice bit of swiss alpenflage camo there Chig nicer than the standard one with all the built in bags.
Thanks Beau
Chigg, What camera brand were you using while riding on the side by side?
It looks huge in places. U r brave 2 go in there
Fungus, seen the same thing in FL growing on poop in humid spot. Tall and hairy looking.
I'll just be up here metal detecting with Rob
Wraith= Awesome movie.
So when are you going to dig the bear trap cave out???
Amazing video, i loved it. So many bones!!!
Very cool Chigg! A little bit crazy you are🤪
Hello Chigger been lookin for one of your videos today. Be safe GOD BLESS.
You are right Chigg. That hair looking stuff is a type of fungus.
Now that I seen the end in kinda upset they left you down there by yourself what if you got pinned up by something and got injured or worse killed
Iv been waiting for this, yay! Stay safe.
man, idon't know how ya do it !! i'm claustrophobic and i was almost hyperventilating just watchin' you guys !!!!!😫🙀🙀🙀🙀🙀🙀🙀🙀🙀
you guys could install some cedar poles and make a ladder for you and the critters to get out.
What if there's something living down there? I think too much lol
Sounds like it should be called Death Trap Cave
That looks like fun, I did some cavin a few years back in Missouri, miss it.
