Whenever I go to the Badlands and Drumheller it feels like I was transported back in time. It feels like a mysterious place to me. Have you ever been to the Badlands?

Super interesting vlog of an interesting place. Glad to hear efforts are being made to preserve the unique formations.

Thank you appreciate it! It would be nice to just see a totally natural landscape but reality is these places do need to be protected to preserve them for years to come.

@@ExploringwithWade we were talking about this the other day. So I guess if that is the way to preserve nature then that is what we need to do.

Am, glad someone have this the Badlands on video, indeed a "Cool Place" touring. Some years having stopped in Calary, easily see off the Trans Canada Highway the Old Winter Olympic site,. Had two choices touring Drumheller or the Rokiemountains, opted touring the Rocky mountains, was awesome up to the Icefields was stunning. Thanks for the Hoodoo's, video still anxious touring Drumheller surrounds, next year 2025. Am off touring Africa soon. Later. Keep Trekking 😅

Very educational . well done, when we first visited there years ago you could just about walk anywhere with no walkways. enjoyed being there. keep up the good job.

They had to put walkways and ropes up because people were destroying these delicate formations. Carving on them, leaning on them, etc. I’m glad they put up the walkways and barriers, personally. 😃

Thanks for watching! Yes we have hoodoos and badlands. Lots of different areas in Alberta to explore. Usually I have gone in the summer but decided to check it out in the winter in the beginning of 2020. 😀👍

Yes before you could walk right up to them but people could touch and climb around them which would deteriorate them quicker.

This is also on my list, but it seems like whenever I'm in the Badlands it's extreme heat and not great for hiking!

Extreme heat or cold haha. One time we hiked around and it was over 40c and was brutal haha. Makes sense to be called the badlands haha.
