I dont believe in 'melodic' progressive house to be honest. Its more of a listening experience on the chill side of things. Very cheezy and less energetic and also does not have the dance elements in it(the groove or rythm) to be a good electronic music. Also it has so much of melody in intros and outros that its so difficult to mix different keys. So much so that one has to mix very late. Just saying! And also i have not seen one live concert where melodic progressive house is being played.

And, your solution for this kind music is? Should all artists have to propose to eliminate all their previous work just because you do not believe in it? Music is not a religion that you should believe in it or not. And for the end, if you do not like this kind of music, why did you come to this channel in general? I do not understand people like you, You have so many other music channels, you go there and listen to what you like...

@@DejanPavlovic_skyescape haha! Dont feel offended, man. Didnot mean to insinuate anybody. I have been linsteing to electronic music and DJing for over 10 years now. Have listened to a wide variety of genres from classic trance to minimal. So i have some understanding of music. My assessment is not all wrong although you can disagree with me. Although taste in music is subjective, You have not addressed any of the issues i mentioned about melodic progressive house which means you can not dismis my observations entirely. You shall be surprised to know there are actually very few lalbels supporting or releasing melodic progressive house.. Silk music and elleptical sun recording are the only two top labels that one can mention. Melodic progressive house is neither underground stuff nor does it find its way into big music festivals. A colleague of mine who also loved melodic progressive house wanted to play it in clubs and got very little crowd response. Ultimately he did realise the truth i was telling him all the way. As i said it is not a bad music but it lacks certain elements for it to be a complete dance music. Good dance music has good kicks and attitude to it which with the melody makes it awesome both to listen to and dance to. It is of recent origin anyways. I guess over time it will get better but in the present form it lacks the venom for the club scene. At home, its just fine. And thats what i mean when i say i dont believe in it. Music surely is a way of life for many people as it is for me. So people are choosy and have a right to make judgments about it. I came here because youtube threw a suggestion at me. Cheers!
