As a high school senior violinist right now... I would pay so much for my orchestra to be like that.

Never buy into negativity that others throw at you (but always listen to your teacher), remember that everyone is unique and brings their own special voice to music.
Don't become trapped in fixed thinking that the preestablished musical paths are all that are available to you.
Make your own way.

I remember when y'all were still learning this piece to play for real. I'm sure you're always learning but I'm so proud. This reminds me of my ballet growing up as well. Thankfully I loved performing and didn't love rehearsal. Hahaha

Thanks for highlighting this! It’s so true-many musicians struggle with performance anxiety, often because we’re too hard on ourselves. I used to experience that tightness in my chest before performing, and it was overwhelming. Now, as a coach, I realize it’s all about what we tell ourselves! I wish there had been coaches focusing on this when I was starting out.
Now, I want to help musicians transform that anxiety into confidence and reconnect with their passion for music.💪

I'm not even finishing this skit before writing this comment. Oh my gosh I just had a VIOLENT memory of being in performance class back in college and performing for the first time before my professors and classmates - and when they gave their critiques at the end I CRIED IN FRONT OF EVERYBODY BECAUSE I WAS SO NERVOUS! If there is one performance in my whole life that I could erase from existence, that would be it.

Video idea: Musician plays in the orchester for a ballet - then takes ballet lessons. Maybe he disrespected the art form and is told to try it out for himself, maybe he falls in love with a dancer who also gives beginner lessons so he wants to connect with them, maybe he wants to learn something about posture and performing for his next violin competition... another collab with BALLET REIGN, that might be a cool video 😊

That’s a beautiful film and it expresses very much of what every musician has been going through. I can absolutely relate to this and it remembered me of my teenage times - thank god I never experienced cyber mobbing, but todays music students do have some hard tasks to overcome.
