Yeah, back in the day WCW crowds chanted Goldberg from the moment the music started to the moment it stopped, LOUD. And they'd chant it if the match hit a lull, just to intimidate the other wrestler. Hell, they chanted it whenever they got bored with someone else's match.
Chris Brady They only threw objects when the WCW was screwing them over with keyfabes. Wrestling games have always had very quiet crowds. However, there have been attempts in the past at getting the crowds more interactive with the wrestler characters. They're just not pushing the envelope enough. If you can have a game like Dead Rising with thousands of zombies on screen, why can't you have an interactive crowd?

Better than THQ's recent attempt for sure! I like how it starts with the backstage security knocking on his locker room door. But I think the backstage segment needs to be longer, show a longer walk, and show him walking up the steps backstage to reach the entrance area. Also I would have preferred his WWE gear with the white trim, looked a lot better.
He was pretty quick getting down to the ring, only time I recall watching him take time was at important title matches
The WWE gear is an alternate attire. You get two versions of goldberg when u pre order. The one seen in the video and the attire with the white trim you're talking about.

Undertakers entrances are intimidating, but nothing is scarier than that music, watching Goldberg walk through the arena surrounded by police with the gold around his waist, and 40,000 fans chanting "GOOOLLLDBERG! GOOOLLLDBERG!"
Goldberg is in great shape and he still has what it takes for more 3 years in WWE

This games is hands down the best multiplayer games in ages.
that awkwardly long pause after the first bit of pyro really takes the air out of the entrance, imo. the first pyro should finish, then you should see him exhale smoke, then BANG, the second pyro hits and he does his war dance, all in quick succession.
i like how they got goldberg entrance on this year game can't wait till october 11 to play it

The move he does when the pyro goes out needs to happen faster, way too delayed. Needs to do the "RAH" and also the front kick. Thumbs up if you agree!

I'll probably get shit for this, but I remember when all of this stuff was included in games as unlockable content. Now, you remove half the stuff that would have been in the game before, charge another $30-60+ for the rest of what should have been in the game in the first place, and you do this annually.
The frame rate drops while he's punching after the fireworks on my Xbox one version. Is anyone else experiencing the slow frame rate in Goldbergs entrance too?
IMO, the best part of his entrance was walking thru the gorilla position. There's something about that feeling walking thru that area prior to walking out onto the big stage in front of the wwe universe. I also thought that the makers of the game who made his entrance should've put it in the game.
Notice the smoke he is breathing out of his nose while standing in the pyrotechnics! Looks legit!

That wasn't the invasion era, That was the real Ruthless Aggression Era, the 2002 year was like the Post Attitude Era/Aggression Era even though the Attitude Era ended when WCW was bought by WWE. People need to realize this was his WCW entrance, not 2003-04 entrance.
HEY 2k!! I know the crowds suck today, But this era had the greatest crowds in wrestling history. Just go back and watch when Goldberg beat Hogan on Nitro and you'll see what I mean. The Horrible crowd reactions kill this game for me!

You guys really half assed this entrance, the pyro is off and the nitro set is missing the lights it was never dark like that. The Goldberg model is on point tho, I get it that the lighting maybe off because it's 98 that's why it looks non HDish but this could have been done better

Words cannot describe how I felt when I saw him stand there as the sparks hit and you saw smoke come out of his nose. All we needed was "Da man!" to be heard as he walked down to the ring.

2. His fireworks kinda suck, where's his kick?
3. It's great that he's got smoke out his nose finally, but the fireworks he stands in were way better before.

2K has a serious problem of capturing the intensity of these entrances.
100% agree. They need to get the superstars in and capture them doing the entrances themselves instead of hiring outside talent to do everyone. I know the timing is really hard with the hectic schedules but this is just another reason imo the games should be every 2 years. They barely improve on an annual basis now.
Not to mention the audience sounds like crap. All I heard was the chanting Goldberg at the beginning when the police knocked on the door. After that it was just nothing basically no cheering sounded more like boos actually.
