This week on ModiMakes I'll be creating an album cover artwork redesign by hand! Inspired by the song The Quest by Mac Miller I'll be combining graphic design and stippling painting for brand new album cover art on canvas. The quest painting depicts a great blue heron painting rendered in a stippling art style. But the blue heron flying character design will merely be the subject for a beautiful contemporary landscape painting and album cover design acrylic painting. Meticulous magnificent masterpiece. Don't let nobody tell yu otherwise. The shadow or depth of the bird feathers and the same styling on the volcano got me. Lordy. Beyond and because you're a master stipler the damn thing, block letters AND worked edges are phenom.

Oh, gotta seal the edges of the tape...some kind of clear gunk does it. Ask around. Maybe Mod Podge. Idk

Regarding the tape, wondering if it is old or storage conditions have degraded the adhesive. Or the brand needs switching up. I mean, masking tape should do the simple job of ... masking!
Hahaha yea one would hope! Could be tho I think this is just some cheap generic stuff so maybe its time to go to frog tape or something who knows, love no respawn btw hahaha I'm gunna start using that but I actually think I like how it ended up better then my original idea so happy accidents and what not!

Hahaha totally fair! Honestly it's just that my brush skills need work and I've been an illustrator all my life so my 10,000+ many times over hours have been put into drawing skills and I figure I should use them lol, glad you dig the painting tho! Thank you so much!

The pink that was gone…. If you stomp on the can, like dent the shit out of it… you’ll get more out of it. Woulda been enough to finish that up for sure. Much respect sir.
Oh really? Never heard of that before but thanks for the tip! Is it just cuz you're lowering the available volume in the can so you get a higher internal pressure? Thank you tho!
@@modimakes yeah. You make the pressure way higher by reducing the available volume and therefore making the paint expel that woulda just stayed at the bottom.
