Ngl splash casters may be overshadowed by other units but you can't deny how cool they are. Like mostima, lava alt and dusk skill is so cool looking. I probably will never use them but E2 them just that is very satisfying

They release buff then decided to wreck whole AOE caster class by releasing alt chen
AND SHES NOT A CASTER TO BEGIN WITH, ITS A DAMN SNIPER
I also wanna slap whoever in HG think AOE atk = splash projectile
That only made them useful at choke points and a niche group enemies.
The true AOE is only shotgun archetype and ifrit
I've been using Nightmare with skill 2 for a long time, I didn't know that S2 won't take damage if enemy didn't move before watching your guide.
Not only showing good or bad, Lamsun also tell you how to handle what they lacking for. Probably better if you explain each sub-class on different video since I didn't have any chain caster, but the guide also well made
As far as I've watched, this is really well made, but the duration of the video is really off putting. I look forward to watching the rest of this when I get the time, but as some feedback, maybe consider releasing each sub-archetype separately in a row, or something to give the information in more bite sized durations. Thanks a lot for the video.

Personally disagree with this. The length of the video is not crazy, and the video is timestamped well enough for navigation/to watch in smaller chunks if you don't have the time.
@@fogheta its infact crazy he over analyzed all of the entire caster archtype its immposible for anyone to learn anything from this when you can just actually search up a spesific caster tutorial video
Its no doubt that aoe charger drone casters are pretty much useless comoared to st so giving them this much credit is unmandotory and confuses newbies alot wich is almost always the case for all "tutorial/tip" videos of any arknights video they over analyze and try to bring up operators that are known to be useless and confuses newbies into not knowing who to build litterally all tutorial videos goes like
"This support guard has high dp cost low dps terrible stats and skills but its an amazing class that you definitely need to e2 to help your other units"
No one uses support guards
All of these tutorial videos sound like ING decided to make a random arknights operator guide without knowing the game
Its definitely an amazing guide but hard to recommend to anyone except veterans that want quirky new units

Phalanx caster's S1s may be "identical" (just like many 6 stars have extremely similar S1's), but they cover a very good range. I've only built Mint so far but her S1 lets her handle a lot of enemies and attack like an AOE caster would. Each Phalanx caster's S2 may be their unique selling point (though Carnelian keeps her Def and Res talent when her S1 is charged), but people using them shouldn't sleep on their S1s
this is my favorite class!
also, thank you for viewing chain casters very fairly :') but generally this video explain anything very fairly and not just telling which is better between them
I'm really looking forward to more operators under the Mystic Caster Archetype, especially a 6* version, because this archetype is my favorite out of all the archetypes because their trait is very nice. It enables the operator to prepare for the next enemy when they're not attacking. Futhermore, the color palette and choices for the already released operators are nice. Watching them stack their attacks and holding them with their staffs are very cool to look at. They look pretty. I'm really hoping to get Iris soon cuz dang she avoided me. I hope for her rate up soon.
I just got my Iris from the recent banner and indeed she's really good! Especially againts bosses.

this is by far the most amazing guide for caster since they are generally being used to deal with armored enemy or high defense. You have convinced me to try raise modal caster because i don't use them that much thanks to this guide.

I used Isis Skill 2 on cc6 to take care of the dualist crocs. I reached risk 18 using that method. Was pretty impressed by her dps especially since she was e1 lv 60 and I believe her s2 was only on rank 5 or so
perfect, even though I already know but I still watch because it's fun and good, hopefully there will be many views, and understand more about arknight (waiting for other roles)

This vid is a really great guide. Detailed yet concise. I've been putting off building casters but now I have a better idea who to prioritize
So far I was able to read the entire core caster portion. I might finish the rest after the holidays. I'm not really in the mood for reading if this had audio aside from the current bg music I'd listen more to this.

One thing about the Iris Blemishine combo. If Blemishine kills a target effected by Iris S2 before the skill ends, they will not explode. It's a bit of an anti-synergy

Chain casters are weak because if they are average, stacking chain casters would be an unstoppable strategy.

Note about Carnelian, her s3 scales weirdly with attack speed. Since the damage ramps up over the course of the skill, lining up the last attack with the end of the skill matters more than a small number of extra attacks. For instance if you use Aak s3m3, any *ADITIONAL* attack speed makes her do less damage over the course of the skill.

I put Gitano 1day at e2, i dont know why i just checked the requirements for promotion and i had all of them at that moment so i ended up pressing the accept button, kinda regret it being honest but is not that bad since i dont have better aoe caster like mostima or dusk.
I have Carnelian and LeiZi and I have no idea how to use them at all

I think Corroserum purpose is to deal with the Art shield of enemies in chapter 9 and beyond. Their art shield (the purple aura) gives all affected enemies 70 RES, which make Art DPS other than Surtr and Ifrit lackluster.
So Lava skill is supposedly to be combined with Nian skill 😅

Jokes aside (They aren't as good as core but both are waifu), this is an awesome work, I saw the lenght of the video and expected something good, but this was really solid; hopefully the effort is noticed up there on Hypergryph so they can close an eye and drop you a 1 pull 6* (Not to mention the work of those of Aceship, our lords and saviors of M3 materials)

1stly duration of the video is insane and unhelpful to anyone that just wants tips for casters your really should have spended the actual time with 6/5 star casters or the archtypes instead of giving them this much spotlight
2ndly you gave some of the archtypes too much credit yes aoe casters are good at killing a lot of trash mobs but its not worth it for their insane cost and low dps its the same case for drone casters or charger casters or litterally everyone since all of them are soniche that having a st casters will always be more beneficial except extremelly niche cases
Ofcourse doesnt include ifrit since she is ifrit
Its hard to give this video as a tutorial or even learn anything from it when the whole thing is this much over analyzed
