first comment here in 5 years? crazy. whoever sees this, if anyone: 59-yr-old serious lifelong musician here. always knew of echolyn, but never gave this band more than 5 seconds of a chance. saw the recent interview on the sea of tranquility channel and decided to revisit. instead of starting at the beginning, decided to start at this, their most recent release. this song, at this point in my life, is the absolute heaviest thing i could ever imagine discovering. listened to this one single song probably 75 times over the past few days. i'm stunned that someone could've created this. its a piece of art that sliced open my soul. one of deepest, heaviest songs i've ever heard. masterpiece...
