Hell yeah bro! Great video about the other side of Fiji that people aren't aware of. There's a lot more than the Bula smiles you see on holiday there for a brief week or 2. Don't let this video impact you travelling to Fiji, as you won't be impacted and it's an incredibly beautiful country, but just be aware that life still goes on outside of the tourist resorts.
Brah, this was unreal cuz. As someone who is born and raised in the island of O’ahu, Hawai’i I can tell you the ice epidemic slammed us hard, we call it “Batu”. I grew up during the 80’s and 90’s when the only thing we had was Pakalolo, (Weed). Yeah sure we had coke, and other party drugs, but when Ice came around the early 90’s, shit started changing quick, the crimes arose, violent crimes got worse, break ins, robberies were full on. Within 10 years I saw places I use to hang out become havens for druggies and just dangerous people. As a Kanaka Oiwi (Hawaiian), it hurts to see my Fijian cousins across the sea have to deal with this shit, some of my good friends I grew up surfing with and hung out with are Fijian and they are some of the nicest genuine people, in their language, culture and rich heritage. I hope and prayer is that a solution comes in some way. Our government sucks just the same, sure we have rehab programs, but it could be better, the tourism authorities are all in denial because these islands are their cash cow, so any kind of negative publicity is met with either outright lies, and sometimes dumb deniability, so that the palm tree, white sandy beach image of Hawai’i is still kept in a clean picture to the world. Seeing my own people succumb to this crap hurts as well, I knew good people who had their whole lives ahead of them destroyed in a matter of months. Awesome Span, as always my braddah, I hope and pray you can come to O’ahu someday, I’d love to show you around and see beyond the postcard travel guide image. Brother, Welcome to Fiji Lad. Thank you for exposing the Drug(ICE) Epidemic man. Alot of my cousins are stuck in this lifestyle now of using Meth and sniffing Glue. Some of them have even gone missing and some have turn up dead and it hurts ya know, especially growing up with those Lads and Gals. Also hopefully you come back to the UK so we can give you an Fijian style celebration. Love your work G, keep making this Docs my brother. Blessings to you🤙
Such a great video! It's heartbreaking to witness my fellow Fijians suffering at the hands of poverty & drugs 😔 I truly hope this vid helps raise awareness and yes, Fiji really needs a rehabilitation centre ❤
I work in mental health and have seen good people get wrecked by ice. I have a sneaking feeling that ice is being used to weaken Australia and other countries too for the gain of other nations... blessings blessings
Welcome to my country spanian . Those who are not resilient enough will not survive in this country. You have to be honest enough and a hard worker to live in this country . Put God first and be honest with yourself. The rest is history
I worked and lived in Fiji for only six months back in 2017. I uncovered corruption within the first week of being there, which resulted in threats of violence against me. My issues were very basic when compared to the widespread, multi level corruption that must exist in the horrific drug trade. The scourge of drugs is going to ruin this beautiful land and its people. Maybe it’s already too late?
American Samoa also been having an ice epidemic but it's not as bad as Fiji. It breaks my heart that some of our pasefika people have lost their way. God be with us all 😓
Spanios! I'm so glad you guys made a video on Fiji's situation, people don't realize Fiji has 2 sides. It's not just resorts and all you can eat buffets. My partner and I stayed in Sigatoka last year, spent a few days driving around Suva - Sigatoka - Nadi. The extreme poverty in Suva is something ill never forget. We walked around that bus stop in the last clip you played, within 20mins we were followed into a store by some sketchy couple, we saw another man put his hands into a ladies handbag right in front of us! (My missus kicked him and he fked off). We warned the lady and she zipped her bag up. It seems like that's the only defense for the people of Fiji, zip your bag up close your door lock your things, because the government is doing fuck all.
bro i miss ur old intro that intro was so savage and when i saw ur first video that first few words hooked me up to stay and watch the rest of the video.
Awesome video, It's crazy how over the years your videos have improved this being probably in my opinion of the best. Keep up the grind love from Germany!
What a sad story of reality appreciate you showing the rest of the world what the Fijian people are suffering with. It truly saddened me to know that their own government doesn't even want to help rehabilitate them but just lock them up how corrupt can it get. Thanks spanian for bringing a light on another country who needs a light shined on it so people pay attention to it and might offer a helping solution to the problem for the future generations of Fijian kids ❤❤
Spanian didn't lie when he said he's only bringing us the hottest docos damn, I love seeing his grow and learn so much and become such an amazing human being.
Thanks Spanian my brother....I've been following yous from the start and I'm living in Fiji...and I thank you for coming to Fiji and exposing the issue we are facing here in the Islands...Jah Bless brada ❤ Vinaka
@ChrisMcGrath-rm2nq as I said in the thread: This is an intentionally manufactured tool to ensure self-destruction. Just as it is everywhere else. They don't need to drop bombs to wipe out/control populations. Not when they can instead use 'Silent Weapons for Quiet Wars'...
TY 4 highlighting this. Editing should have been better to keep the identity of interviewees safe. Fiji does need rehabs and trained front liners to address the issue, awareness, support for the youth, mental health support, intervention and diversionary initiatives but ultimately to address the symptoms… so much to be done. God bless Fiji 🇫🇯
@Spanian good on ya for doing this video doco. Its really interesting with what's going on in Fiji. I guess health, education and bringing out stable politics and economy will help
When Lawyers, Military personnel, police, businessmen and Government employees are buyers imagine the demand of Ice being a high end substance drug worth more than cannabis .. so with poverty and unemployment issues on a high number, probably this is the easiest way to earn money for those who dont have a choice but to peddle inorder to keep their boat afloat. Sad to see lives taken away coz of greed or deals gone wrong.
Thank you lad. This 47 min video will bring more awareness and will probably do more good than what our politicians are doing back in the pacific Islands. ❤
Spanian you are a blessing to these Fijian people who invited you to talk about this problem on social media that is happening. We all hope that this UA-cam video gets the message across the powers that be in Fiji.🙏❤️💛🌻🙏

Suva is the biggest dump, i went on a cruise there and in the 2 hours i spent in suva most of the people were on some form of drugs, had one rather large guy try and rob me but changed his mind half way through (i don't know why but i am glad he did because there was no chance of me winning that fight) might be nicer away from the main port area
Yeah the ports and and other areas are seedy asf, Suva after dark is a different vibe altogether. Nadi though is worse, you won't just catch grief from the lowlifes but the police as well, always travel in a group.
As much as i’m glad you visited Fiji, you promised to blur and hide their identities, at 30:53, you can see his face!! You might have forgotten, but for Fijians, this is their life and it’s scary what could happen 😭

Fundraise for a rehab, Spanian. Find the right person in the community to run it. Peter Lyndon James from WA runs a great Christian Rehab. He did 20+ years jail himself and was a drug addict. He has a working model.

I’m from Fiji but my mom has family still there. The past five years my mom would tell me how bad the drug situation has been getting there. Sad to see and I hope that beautiful country and people get help and overcome this drug addiction.
You've come at Perfect time as everything happens for a Reason and your it...if you came to you tube 7 years ago you wouldn't of been able to make this video you will bring more stories to light....this we are now all certain about...amazing work Spanian ❤️

You are the man Spanian..simply excellent..your the change this world needs! Love the channel ..love the content..from Queensland Australia 💯💯🎯
Love ya Span. Always looks forward to your videos ❤
Cool! The background you gave was quite enlightening, glad you have recovered!
Same way CIA flooded usa streets with crack and powder
Work in ? Don’t you mean you’re a rehab addict 😂😂😂
Yep!!! It’s absolutely a strategic move
@JohnRotten-g6t stupid comment
You got a PhD in talking BS@@JohnRotten-g6t
Thank you brother ❤ I’m in Fiji 🇫🇯 and shits real out here!!
Welcome to my country spanian . Those who are not resilient enough will not survive in this country. You have to be honest enough and a hard worker to live in this country . Put God first and be honest with yourself. The rest is history
Amen.
I was there around 12 years ago. Worked there as a skilled foreigner. Had a cop try and bribe me when he pulled me over for allegedly speeding.
This happens everyday all over the world even in Australia @adrianmotet5083
Feelin the same bro❤
American Samoa also been having an ice epidemic but it's not as bad as Fiji. It breaks my heart that some of our pasefika people have lost their way. God be with us all 😓
Let's OGGG! Spanian bless you for bringing awareness on what is really going on🫶🏻 We can use more of people like you telling the uncensored truth. 💯☀️
Getting home from work to see a Spanian has been uploaded, absolutely beautiful
Yeah ? Where do you work mate ?
Sausage wallet
@JohnRotten-g6t watch it buddy you're speaking to a state gronk handler
Always informative when I watch your vids. I am an oldish geazer from 🏴 keep it up bro. 12,000 more views in the time I watched this vid👍
Thanks for showing us this , its so damn sad what's happening there. Blessings to you Spanian 🙏
Brother you put yourself out on the Chopping block there for that story. Thankyou for your BraveHeart stay safe my bro ❤️🔥👊
bro i miss ur old intro that intro was so savage and when i saw ur first video that first few words hooked me up to stay and watch the rest of the video.
Lessss ogeeeee! nothing better than another episode on Sunday.
I saw the guy's face in the 24:22 min section...please reblur...these people are trusting you...
Thanks Spanian my brother....I've been following yous from the start and I'm living in Fiji...and I thank you for coming to Fiji and exposing the issue we are facing here in the Islands...Jah Bless brada ❤
Vinaka
Between drugs, vaccines, poverty, broken psychology, there is going to be a lot of cheap real estate in the coming years in various countries
By design is my guess.
@@ChrisMcGrath-rm2nq and if that takes to long look what they did to hawaii
vaccines 😂😂
@@JW-sl9ml you've completely cooked it if you think they do anything other than make money for the medical industry
Good work putting this out there , love for fiji hope things get sorted out, sad to see kia kaha the fijian fam ❤
Spanian,Tommy G, and Timmy Karter are the best boots on the ground channels. No BS. They just show it how it is 💪
Peter Santenello
Tommy G getting too repetitive nowadays, most videos seem almost the same as older ones so lost interest
Keep it up brother. Opening peoples eyes to the nitty gritty. Great work.
Yeah I hope those island pay for it they are going to expect New Zealand amd Australia to give them money
Sad to see lives taken away coz of greed or deals gone wrong.
bro this is some of your best work. good on you bro for using your platform for good. god bless
Thank you King! What a podcast.
🙏🏿🙏🏽🙏🏻- The Popularity of your video is that you are actually at ground level talking to the locals about the facts and giving a real view that is not misleading like mainstream media. Cheers Brother.
Couldn't wait for this. Soon as I saw you filming on a rainy night on suva bus stand I knew. This is going to be great 😂
I wished he covered Suva neighbourhoods and housings 😭
True @@Hustler-mv3he
what an eye opener thanks Spanian for your journalism of this
Thank you brother for visiting my homeland fiji , really enjoyed every second of these awesome video and you nailed it , im hoping that one day drug issues in fiji will come to a stop , God bless you Spanian with your pieces of work and looking forward for more..
Watching from Kilcoy , Qld , Aust. 🩵
Never thought Fiji had a drug problem with such a strong religious base. i knew it was prone to unrest though like the past coups. Well done on highlighting a growing problem Anyos.
They dont have religion? What the coconut?
Sorry to hear about your past 😢 😢 😢 Loved your documentary both on Athens. I can't travel and your videos are like we are travelling with you all over the world. Keep the health and wellbeing lifestyle yes please Spanian 🌎🤸🏼♂️🙌
Wow brother, you brought to light something no one would have expected, that beautiful Fiji had a serious meth problem. Lets hope through ur video that someone in the Oz and NZ govt will see this and put pressure on the Fijian govt. the fijian ppl deserve better.
Great vid sir
Hope the relevant authorities see this and also open the peoples eyes in fiji
Awsome work Spanian 🙏🔥🔥🌎✝️making a difference ✌️turn darkness into light 🙏
Great reporting, Spanian! It’s easily as good as what Vice used to put out. Keep cranking!!
Port towns & cities always shit holes. Marsellie, Plymouth, Liverpool, LA etc.
We all know who runs Suva and it’s exactly why we’re running onto this problem in the first place 😒
I'll never forget my time in fiji, I got to see to both sides. I learned so much about this beautiful place
As much as i’m glad you visited Fiji, you promised to blur and hide their identities, at 30:53, you can see his face!! You might have forgotten, but for Fijians, this is their life and it’s scary what could happen 😭
Yea facts brother gonna get dragged
yeah there’s a few times in the vid where the dude in the black and yellow’s face is visible
😂@@roberthill3145
That's hilarious
You can see his tattoo's. why hide his face lol.
Bula bro!!!!awesome work on highlighting the issues we fijians face.....especially the drug issue....maybe you could come to western side of fiji....
Fuark ya can’t say span ain’t a smart bloke, whilst every other tuber are taking turns covering the same issues he’s uncovered this gem, pretty fkin quality content gotta say.
This is sad. I've always wanted to go to Fiji. It's been my dream. I never thought somewhere so beautiful could be overrun by addiction to this extent and they don't have a rehab?! I hope change comes soon for Fiji ❤
very interesting. thank you and all the brave locals for telling their story.
i love it when people tell their truth.
Another great spanian doco. Mate im loving yr comment im bringing nothing but the hardest docos im pumped i can see this goin big real big
Awesome man, over 10K views less than an hour, you are a legend bro
3 hours and over 50k views. Lad deserves everyone of them
@@Browndogdiesel 💯 absolutely mate, the man is a legend
Fundraise for a rehab, Spanian. Find the right person in the community to run it.
Peter Lyndon James from WA runs a great Christian Rehab. He did 20+ years jail himself and was a drug addict. He has a working model.
Yes my mum also told me the other day that the King of Tonga is stamping out the corruption in parliament coz ice is everywhere in Tonga too
😢
Another bloody 👁 EYE. Thanks Spanian for putting it out there for the world to see how bad it is. 😢
