(sorry for a bit of recording lag, my laptop is a potato)
This video shows some progress on Snowdin Battle. Keep in mind that everything here is a subject to change, including placeholder assets (Snowdin Town tileset, Sans dialogue sprites, etc.)
As you can see, the game will be available in 16:9 screen aspect ratio! But just for the classic lovers, there will be an option to play in original 4:3 as well.

Before you ask, using provoke also has a chance to lower Sans' ATK for 3 turns or don't affect it at all. So it's kind of a gamble you can make to potentially make some of the main attacks easier
And I presume it’s the same way for Manipulate, just for DEF?
@@truehobo9997 defense doesn't really matter in this fight since Sans dodges, so it's pretty much just for extra flavour text 👍
So is the old "kys" text still there?

Honestly the fact sans looks alot calmer on this battle kinda proves the fact that he is probably aware that he won last time, and believe he'll truly be able to defeat the human once and for all, he seems alot more confident too.
All lb-likes phase 1 sanses are calm

It's so beautiful. The sprites, the attacks, I love the faint glow on things like the blue bone and the blaster beam. The music is amazing as well.

As much as it’s cool to see new crazy designs and final forms, there’s something very appealing about new ACT options. Taunting sans is a good one.
If we’re leaning into being a sadistic killer rather than feeling guilty, I say we lay on the insults
* you ask sans what papyrus would think
* you remind sans of his failures
* you tell sans he looks ridiculous in that outfit
I mean just tons of options for things to piss him off

damn i have been following this project ever since exp uploaded the first ever ver of phase 2’s theme, crazy how far this projects come to even making a separate game and separate story for hard mode, sprites are also sick sotwound

This looks amazing so far! The sprites for Frisk, sans' fight sprites, the glow added to the color of the attacks, and rng in a fight that while difficult (as per The Genocide's End standards), it isn't some insane battle that you have to no hit, and fire music? This is fantastic! (Cool that we can have different aspect ratios!)

i love the fight so far. The animation, the sprites, and the gameplay is very good. Keep it going! Also i have a question, will this fangame have the same blue soul physics (like in the normal mode, the blue soul could jump really high up) or is it going to change? Have a great rest of your day!

About the blue soul, yes the jump height will stay the same, but rn I'm experimenting with physics, so that it feels more comfortable to play
ngl it'd be a cool feature if the player slowly got frostbite or sum dunno, but anyways, that is a cool update mate, take your time because masterpieces come with time, God bless brother

Unfortunately, dtge won't be finished in 2023 that's for sure
About progress reports, we don't usually do them much, so idk. Probably not soon
As for other encounters, I'm not focusing on them at the moment cuz snowdin is the main priority, but some work for them is slowly done in terms of concepts and music

This fangame will be the best of all, although I have a little problem with the hitbox, it shows that the hitbox is twice as small as the soul, my idea would be to make the soul we control smaller and thus be almost the same size as the hitbox. Brother, tremendous anxiety that gives to see how almost half of the soul is pierced by a bone and does not hurt XD

Interesting so his raw stats will be lower then canon dusttale sans (aka murder sans since murder sans is lv 20) however due to the experience from gaster AND the fact this is hard mode he will most likely have more battle experience and battle prowess then murder sans

Because dtge has much more content than dtlg, which is also more quality, therefore more effort and needed time to dedicate
Also, it heavily depends on how much free time we get after the summer ends

This reminded me that in the future half of his left side of the skull will be transformed into a blaster, (I don't know how official it is) and also judging by one picture, the same part of the face will somehow disappear, leaving a huge hole in half of the skull. (sorry I'm stupid/retarded)
Those designs were scrapped, but we haven't made the final ones yet so maybe they'll be similar in a way (or not)

2. Maybe, but not for snowdin encounter (probably for the final battle)
