No way! Ya’ll it’s their first show and they did better than southern tbh. They executed and they understood the assignment period. This captain will has the stamina and energy to put a showcase. It’s a “yes” for me! Great job. Looking forward to see what the stingettes have in store for the season.

The Stingettes routine was good, but those À La Seconde turns were terrible.😳 Here's a little advice: don't put tuns in there if EVERYONE cannot hit them. IJS

Love this field show as a whole! Everyone keeps saying struggling with technique is funny. They don’t know anything about dance as you can tell. Yes Zy didn’t execute her turns, but tell me where else. Please people kill me with no dance background critiquing. One the Stingettes and Honeybees & Justin the drum major clean up, this will be a A+ show!

Mam, all I needed was that entrance on those motorcycles to see that I was hella wrong and you come to play not one game. You gave a show from the whistle at the gate, but the motorcycles- I don't need the rest of the show. Yall won - HANDS DOWN!.... Great job!
Great energy but they struggled with technique.
I'm so proud of Asu band. They have come a long way and is giving su some stiff competition. Side bar: don't tell nobody but I'm an su fan. They gon get me if they find out I been watching Asu for 7 years now. Gotta give credit when and where it's due.

The MMH sound great. They are just extremely predictable. Some formation changes with the exception of pinwheels all the time would be great. The performance was enjoyable, however.

What was the point of the motorcycles? The band sounds solid. The flags were great! Stingettes routine looked forced-it’s hard to watch them attempt any sort of technique on the field after watching the Dolls, but the routine was cool. The Honeys Bees were cool, but not as clean as usual. Overall, good show but messy at points. ❤❤

For the life of me still, I do not understand the point of these honey bees, they don't march at parades, march in the stadiums or perform at any national battle of the bands and their field shows are sloppy, I don't get it!!!!!!ASU sounds clear however, the dancers needs a little work but, it's the first game and most crabs are usually very nervous so it will take about the 3 field show and they will get it together. Nice work

l liked ASU's halftime show. lf u do not like what ASU marching band is doing as far as choreography, dance music selections etc., feel free to go to the campus, head on down to the music building. Go to the bandroom which is located on the 1st floor near the back of the building, and work with the band if u have better ideas.

I agree with you Mr. Wilson. Alabama State University for the last ten or more years under Dr. Oliver has not be consistent with drilling. To be a band in the SWAC, you must be able to do at least some basic drills. Alcorn State, Grambling State, Jackson State, Southern and Texas Southern really drill every weak. FAMU, BCU, Pine Bluff, PVAMU, and Alabama A&M have their own distinct styles to drilling when it is time to with a competitive opponent. A band with this amazing sound and that has numbers can be so much better. Hire a Drill Writer and Show Coordinator to improve the overall marching band show quality and variety.
