We’ve seen Hugh make a career out of doing more with less at the QB position, and the supporting cast at Auburn is unquestionably better. Add in the huge difference in income tax and distance from home, plus the huge disparity in travel to away games. I just think he could do all the same things he wants to do elsewhere at Auburn, without nearly the amount of sacrifices. Then again, it’s nice to have some sense of finality to this situation. It was exhausting last cycle to watch the Ryan Williams saga play out. Just would be nice to be on the winning side of one of these very high profile, long, drawn out recruitments. Especially for a game changing QB. There will always be another opportunity in the future, though!
