I watched a u tube video of a shop that does the conversation. I should have know that there was different ac , alternator arrangements . The one I saw was a high mount ac unit . They also used a sensor wire on the alternator and I think a box to calibrate the signal for the tach . I going to add a manual gauge oil pressure to my truck so the information was helpful thanks
I binge watched all of your videos lol. Nice job very helpful. I've been watching UA-cam for years and you are my first subscription! Thank you for taking the time!
I have a complete mid-mount kit out of an F700 if you're interested. Bracket, tensioner, water neck, alternator brackets, thermostat housing, the entire thing. I'll make a good deal if you decide to go that route. Tried to find your post on the FB page but can't find it now.
alright mr.rico first off ill say your videos are crazy helpful, much appreciated. for the water temp sensor, i used my old 350 water temp sensor and wasnt getting a reading. i ordered a new 350 water temp sensor and still am not getting a reading, i grounded out my temp senor wire and it went full hot. so the wires good, i have 0 tephlon tape so i have a good ground. do you have any ideas what could be my problem? i am installing in the same location you are.
Glad my videos helped. Just a thought have you made sure the parts store isn't giving you the wrong sending unit? . If they mistakenly gave you a sending unit for a light and not a gauge it could give you the problem you are having
Hey Rico, Iim sorry to bother you. Thank you so much for the awesome videos!! You are the man! ISO I’m doing a Fummins build and I’m deleting the A/C. I can’t find the correct belt tensioner? Also what wastegate actuator did you use for your HX35? I want to send you cash for your time.

Thank you for watching and feels awesome to be your first subscription. Thanks again
Finally got my engine mounted yesterday. I used the same locations for temp and oil.
Glad to hear you're making good progress!
Thanks legend! Definitely help when I make it to this point.
Thanks for watching!

Did u ever wire a tech in? I keep getting told it won’t work with the sensor
hello, what did you do about oil pressure switch so its not fully making out?
I ended up going with an aftermarket oil pressure gauge. All the other factory gauges work fine.
Can you do the video of the voltage regulator solution
I'm actually filming it next week. It should post next weekend
Hey Boss
Do you have the part number for the water and oil switches?
Look up the sending units for an 82 K30 454 engine with gauges.
Sorry I don't remember the part numbers
Sounds good sir. Thank you for the reply

Give me a day or two and I'll check my records and see if I can get you some part numbers.
@@RicosGarage Thank you so much, I really appreciate it.
Is that frame cut to make the engine fit?
Had to modify the front crossmember to clear the balancer.
The mods were not finished in this video. Just a rough cut for clearance as you see
@@RicosGarage is that the only way to do it or do they make kits?
There's kits available if you are not comfortable with doing the fabrication yourself
