Hey Malzi, If you look for/assign a key to Manual Roll Mode, you can keep your helicopter pitched left or right without having to constantly adjust it mid flight. 😊

I wish my starstreaks would do their job at all, but they phased through air targets 99.9% of the time - even hovering helicopters. It was so infuriating that while spading the Stormer HVM I changed my account name to 'StormerIsJunk' for something like 6 months.
As a Ka50 and Ka52 pilot, it makes almost no difference in war thunder. Actually its better to have them down since they can absorb hard landings, thus not damaging the fuselage.

I would love if they upped the repair cost and upped the spawn point cost as at the point of the game its not a question on if a heli spawns its how many kills will he get before someone manages to shoot him down
You can carry 4 starstreaks, ka52 can carry 20 S13. S13 can kill mbts anywhere u aim, starstreaks can only kill light tanks. S13 can rocket wall sams, starstreaks can't. S13 have more than 10kg of tnt, starstreaks have less than 2(and that's if the 1st stage rocket is still attached) The fact that you are comparing a AAM that can only kill light targets to a huge unguided rocket that literally broke the top tier so hard (the reason why u cant can't first spawn it anymore) is.. quite stupid

Starstreaks can kill NATO MBTs on side and roof, and u can guide them into the sides.Can't do the same with s13 tho "S13 can rocket wall SAM" you mean s13 can destroy sam? If so, the starstreak is faster than all SAM so it can 1 shot spaa before the spaa can kill the helicopter. S13 obviously has more TNT, since its an unguided rocket meant to destroy THINGS. Starstreak with its 2kg warhead is still effective at annihilating light tanks and sides of NATO mbts. Lastly i want to add that, you can literally just snipe people from your spawn with starstreak, get 4 kills, reload the missiles and repeat. That happened to me a few hours ago. Had to spawn a pantsir to deal with that thing as he was distracted. Also you gotta get close to the battle to use s13

That huge rocket will trigger the proxy fuse that's coming. Making it miss its actual target which is the heli. No other Heli in the game can rocket wall since their rockets have a calibre less than 90mm (except russian helis and that one swedish mi28) Also, with the heli damage model. You can literally wipe the half of the enemy team with S13 on short maps. Not to mention if you have 3 helis with them which is just a team wipe. that's literally the common thing in top tier before since Sams can't do pretty much since they are getting rocket walled by them, and also heli damage model

In my whole 2 years of playing this game i managed to only shoot down 5 rockets with S13. Also i barely see anyone else do it nowadays. This tactic is another case of "Good on paper, Bad on execution". Not to mention the turret desync and ghost shells have made it harder to do it. Heli damage model for the most part is fixed. I've seen enemy and friendly helis get shredded even by roof MGs. Obviously there are some times when missiles and 125mm guns don't do any damage, but those are rare. Rushing with a whole squad of heli is the only effective way to wipe out the enemy team, and even that is rare now. And even then all it takes is 1 pantsir or adats on the opposite team to ruin the party

KA-50 pilots: why do you never close your landing gear? Doesn't it improve flight characteristics?
As a Ka50 and Ka52 pilot, it makes almost no difference in war thunder. Actually its better to have them down since they can absorb hard landings, thus not damaging the fuselage.
