I knew when my man was in love with me, when he did this one thing I was amazed at . We had gone for a long walk at his house and I got my sneakers all muddy . The next day when I got there for our walk , he had cleaned and scrubbed those dirty sneakers til they looked like new . I was amazed . No man had ever done something so sweet and thoughtful for me . Love truly shows up in the small things . Those little things they do to “take care “ of you . I absolutely loved this small sweet gesture .

Sadly I've done all those things in my current relationship. He says he loves me, but he seems distant. I have even seen the first 3 signs, the fourth not super sure of. He does drive 40 minutes from his place to mine on my schedule so we can be together. Then goes to work from here which is an hour drive from my place. So I hope that qualifies as the 'No big deal' but I dont feel his emotions and im very expressive.

I am in a long distance relationship. He says I complete him. He never thought he would find love again and now he has me and I am more than he could imagine. He has become more open with me. He has such a calm nature. He shares his family with me on the phone and in pictures. He sends me sings and calls me twice a day. He needs to hear my voice before he sleeps at night. He has a beautiful soul. He thinks I am funny and we laugh a lot. I joked with him about going to get a massage and so he called me pretending to be the spa and confirming out appt. Letting me know he would be the one giving me the massage. We laughed about this. He wants to be there for me and has been during the difficult moments in my life. He feels together we can get thru anything, and I believe we can too.
I couldn't sleep at like 3AM. my back was hurting. He stayed up with me and talked to me and rubbed my back until i fell asleep again. He had to be up for work at 7AM.❤

I totally had #4 today! I had to work an outdoor event where I was cold, and he drove an hour to hold me, run an errand with me and eat dinner. And this is with a planned date tomorrow! 🥰😍
He does many little things for me that he probably doesn't even notice. For example we were sitting on the beach and it got windy, he went back to his car to change his jacket. Started walking away to come back to me and turned around to bring me his previous jacket to put on my legs. 🥰 or, he is fasting for Ramadan and made a new soup I have never tried before, and before he takes his first bite after fasting all day he offers me his spoonful to try it first! 🥰

Well in all moved in with my choice hope I don’t hurt anyone’s feelings dad is staying alone now and my brother is at special care home time for me now
At work, I don't know what is up with this guy. I swear. I'm not interested. Especially at the time, I was completely ignoring him. He's married, and keeps trying. He knows it won't work, I don't know what to do anymore.
He focuses on getting to know me and respecting me, without foci3on getting physical in the first few dates.. He listens attentively to what I say and who I am.
Yesterday he knew I had a hard day at work and was too upset to stay home so I went out to the pub for a few beers and he drove 40 miles to spend about an hour with me there on a night before a work day then drove back. Never said it was too far or too much time for just an appetizer and one beer. We just met recently and he texts me every morning and sends me pictures of his day cause I am a photographer and he somehow knows that I like communication in this way. Great video! I'll be looking for the next steps, good to know he's at number one already!

My man usually not having a big breakfast. However, he notices that I’m someone having a big breakfast everyday and he manages to cook me an English full breakfast whenever I’m with him. Loads of effort on cooking for him since he doesn’t need a big breakfast and he also eats such a big breakfast with me which makes him full the entire day 🤣 Just love it and I appreciate his effort & respect for me 😍

my new guy is a(n incredibly talented) painter, I casually mentioned a few days ago that I've been meaning to get some new colored pencils especially the really nice ones you can add water to watercolor. He came over today and said he had a surprise for me, it was a new case of water color pencils, he said he was at the art store and remembered that I mentioned needing new pencils. I opened it up and he stuck a small painting of a purple rose (my favorite) that he made. I have it up on my wall, now, but my heart melted so many times over. it was incredibly sweet.

My brother’s have ALWAYS introduced me to the women they fall in love with, and likewise many men I’ve dated have introduced me to sister’s, female friends, ex wives, kids mom, their own mothers and their daughters. In both cases the men have strong feelings sometimes immediately and that is a clear indication or a red flag(however you take it)

This is brilliant thanks Matt. My man has been telling me how important I am to him in his life. He's making big plans with me like a road trip to France next year, he's asked to spend Christmas and new year with my son and I. He's even said he wants children with me, he wants me in his life. Although because of my hurt from the past, I'm worried it's all talk and not enough action.

I’ve been watching some of your videos, they are great. I have been with my partner 15 months and I was worried that he’s not as keen as me, I have a long history of rejection in my life so after the initial honeymoon period I was convinced he’d walk. But no after watching some of your videos I am as certain as I can be that he’s in it for the long haul. However because I have a history of rejection and I tend to push away (before I get rejected) I’m now worried that he doesn’t understand how into him I am, but I don’t want to come across as needy

The man I spsend all my time with noticed a song I requested as my favorite, then sent me that song link in a DM in his native language. I started learning it and have a friend teaching me how to pronounce it so I can (secretly) learn it and sing it to him for his birthday in July. He also seeks me out to do things with me more than anyone else, messages me when he has been working a lot and needs a time to just relax, and we even just hang out and watch UA-cam videos together and talk about what's in the video (he likes cooking videos). I know I am in love with him, but the little things he does that show he pays attention just floor me and prove to me I'm more than just his close friend.

The guy I have been dating has done some pretty incredible things and I feel he is showing me he is falling in love with me. I was sick about a month ago and we are in long distance. He sent me frozen yogurt when I was home sick with the flu just to make me feel better. He went on a trip with the guys and brought me back some jewelry from his trip. We went on our first vacation together and it was amazing. He is flying down for my birthday in two weeks just to spend the day with me, even though he has to be to work the next day at 8 am. Then we are going to a wedding together in October. I feel these signs all point to him falling in love with me. Thank you Matt!

When he introduced me to his friend and then he called me later all proud and happy to say his friend really likes me a lot. Another time I showed up at his job and he shows me his co workers who I’am which I think is cute. He went to Puerto Rico to visit his mother and he came back with two huge package of my favorite coffee. What about long distance? It works kinda different when you met only once or twice and you're just texting. You can't meet and you only can use text or calls. It's not the same...
The guy I like, we're in between as the distance is between us and we can't meet due to covid. He said it and he doesn't want us to be just friends but at the same time we are not yet in a relationship. So it's complicated.

Do you have any opinion about attachment theory? It’s something I’m delving into to learn more about myself and my partner of two years. He is a wonderful man with so many good qualities who I love deeply. But, apparently, we are more screwed up as individuals than I ever could have imagined. I have an anxious attachment and he is a dismissive avoidant. These two types seem to attract each other quite frequently and, according to the “experts” in the field, we can never have a healthy, fully loving partnership.
