OMG! When I heard you share the SAD like symptoms you experience as Summer progresses and how difficult it is to share them with others my eyes became teary as I’m like that too!! But, I learned to remain in the closet (so to speak) except for my family. I’m tired of being looked at as the « weirdo » who doesn’t enjoy the sun and Summer pleasures… which is not true… or being joked around as the « vampiry » girl…. 😕🙆♀️🤷♀️🤦♀️ Nice choice of decks by the way! 😊 It would be fun if you would do a collab with Sylvie at Tarot Magpie 😉 That would be really interesting!
Yeah, summer SAD is tough on that extra front due to people thinking it's weird. I don't mind being the vampy girl as that's kind of my thing and have always actively covered up/kept out of the sun as much as possible. My main problem with summer, especially over time, is due to my light/heat sensitivity and my pain and fatigue being exacerbated in hot weather (I'm better in dry heat but London is more humid than a sauna in Hell). By August I am just living in this too bright, too hot, too humid sensory nightmare and my pain and exhaustion levels are usually through the roof. I guess that's enough to make anyone miserable. People always make fun of me but when I explain how/why I struggle, they usually at least 'get' it a tiny bit. Solidarity my summer SAD compatriate!

Thanks, Kelly. I'm not fond of summer myself, got bored having a long school break and hate the heat. I must have a later edition of Numinous because the cards are matte and a bit textured, lovely stock. Zeke's is on my summer list for sure. 🏖

Glad to hear I'm not alone. It can get very lonely in the summer SAD camp 'cos people just can't seem to get their heads around it most of the time. Sorry to hear you suffer too.
Hey there Madame Bear, I love Dame Darcy's second edition mermaid deck! (I have 2 copies of the first edition) I live in South Florida 15 minutes from, what I consider, some of the most beautiful beaches in the world and I often go to the B ocean hotel on fll beach and take in the mermaid show, so much fun! #1 btw the B Ocean hotel is shaped like a 1940s cruise ship, btw 2 I've chatted with Madame Darcy when she lived in Savannah Georgia and, you probably know this, the queen of cups in her deck is her self portrait...thx 4 all the great vids🎉

Sweet video. Try a micro trim on the rest of the cards in that Groovy Waite so you can use the extra ones! I did it with my Hoi Polloi because two cards were different and you are so good at mods.
That's one idea but I don't think I could bring myself to trim an entire deck to make just two cards fit. Even the thought of it makes me feel tired. lol.

I thought of you when i saw this kickstarter..its called “the Felted Cat”..they look exactly like needle felting. Apparently is partial AI…but its sooo cute..there are just a few days left to back it. Check out the 10sword and 5 of cups…too cute..i had to have it. Reminded me of Magical forest in a way.

Oh that's wonderful you nabbed a copy! I didn't realise it was OOP. That's a shame, I reckon they would sell well, since Marseille/pips are so much more popular now.
