the problem with the last group is when you see someone light all 4 braziers you need to roach out. don't stay and flounder around.
If I was the healer there, having SEEN the guy light all four on purpose...I would not have tossed him a heal at any point. But the paladin did lol. Oof.

Watching that last dude run strictly on the defined path like a bot was physically painful. Like, cmon, are you blind? You have water to the left, water to the right, just jump off, are you insane?

Definitely on the spectrum, there were also no callouts, so nobody knew what to do. I can tell you, if I was that pally, I wouldn't have healed that rogue at all.
I woulda been in the water hearthing, lol.
But before that, it woulda been "everybody out. everybody out now."
If there was a Mage, maybe they do it, but a Pally, 2 Warriors, and 2 Rogues is a terrible comp. I don't think they could do it.
Also, when I do that instance, before any candles are lit in a pug group, I announce, "If I see more than one candle, I'm hearthing".
If I'm in a group, and they have a plan and appear competent, we can discuss options, but only in those rare cases.
He knows you shouldn't light all four candles as once but doesn't know you can just jump in the water and hearth. Smh.

I can't tell who was friends with who there, but none of them seemed to know that fight, maybe the rogue who lived did, but that isn't even certain. We just assume that he was griefing.
6:18 In brd on angerforge, Once you pull Angerforge the Destroyers(fire elementals) spawns blocking the entrance. this was done to prevent hunters,rogues and others cheesing the Boss when it dropped HOJ in the first few phases back in 2019. Also you can safely pull the boss without pulling the sides adds but cannot do the reverse.

the poh at the end was a waste of mana but otherwise it was well handled

Lighting all four candles on hardcore should be considered attempted griefing.
lost my 28 resto sham to a tank from "Chads only" guild to the 4 candles and then they tried to blame ME for my totem catching agro

that guy was doing it to kill them for sure. jokes on him tho: from how bad these players all were each of them would have wiped their own group at some point down the line so he actualy prevented a lot of deaths
@@keeblerelf8997 Well, who knows what they were doing, I've learned to clarify things ahead of time. Those mobs have no targets when spawned and if nobody pulls them, they just wander to the center of the room.
I think you can even do one side at a time, but don't quote me on that. I'm probably wrong.
For me, that means we just killed the boss and my totems are near one of the entrances or front wall, so they aren't pulling. If I have a searing up, I'm erasing it before candles.
I do have to admit, before I got a totem addon, I didn't always know if a totem was up once it was out of sight. I didn't have all the cooldowns memorized and I didn't try to time them in my head, other than I knew which ones were "long" and which ones were "short".
I'm sure I confused some people when they'd see me dropping random totems when the group moved, lol.

Can't run out of the instance at that point, the mobs will catch you. You have to jump into the water and HS out.

It was not his fault for getting in the situation, but it was his fault for dying, with the easiest escape literally right next to him. Less screaming, more thinking. @@systemabc3989 Yeah he was the tank. He was also, after dying, trying to blame the Warlock or Priest for not fearing after him even though it probably wouldn't have done anything. He pulled the group by stupidly range pulling that trash pack instead of all jumping down and fighting them in the corner. Though I guess no one knew that the fireguards spawn on the bridge, I sure didn't.

At the current moment, I paused the video at 0:07. The person is going to walk ahead after having stopped, the door will close behind them, and they will die because they hesitated when the elevator had arrived while they were walking when they should've either kept going or not continued until the next elevator pass.
